Nearly stark white in comparison to the darker colors he wears. He also has a complextion that is almost... uncanny. Pox's medical magic allows for superficial reconstruction of flesh and he uses it on himself to give himself flawless physical features. Its too flawless though, and comes across as doll like if you look too long, seemingly made of porcelain.

"Oh you don't want to hear about me. You're the patient. He's scary looking, wears spooky clothing, does scary things, but is all smiles and encouragements and creature comforts and hot chocolate. He wants to bring some light back into this dark world. He flatters, he encourages, he studies and shares, bringing a sense of child like wonder with him. He loves to laugh and loves to bring cheer and loves to always learn. His curious mind will allow for nothing else. At the same time however, his look and position as an untouchable makes that quite difficult and he is evasive at best when it comes to questions about himself or the World Serpent Guild. Indeed, he gets quite chatty when the conversation goes somewhere he'd rather it didn't, a tell tale sign that he's hiding something. His words are so prepared and reflexive that there is almost something uncanny about them, something unsettling. A quirk he picked up by being in a dark guild. Loose lips and all. He wonders if he does the bad things cause he's forced to, or that he welcomes the challenge and experimentation.
Helga Zanthrax and some of the new members of the World Serpent Guild.
Brief Bio
Born a lesser noble of a kingdom whose culture stems from a strict adherence to prophecy and divination, children's lives are determined shortly after birth. Astrologers read the stars, check the crystal balls and determine a child's rightful place. Pox was set to be a doctor before he could walk and was taken in by the established family of healers and medical wizards. Thankfully, the horoscopes were correct and Pox itself was a prodigy when it came to understanding the magics and sciences of his position. However, his wanderlust and craving for knowledge made him anxious, and affection and familial bonds were secondary to personal acchievement. Without significant ties, being lured away to join the World Serpent's Guild following a purchase of their merchandise was almost too easy. Apothecary Pox was actually happy with the World's Serpent. He didn't have any restrictions, had access to exotic and illegal knowledge and spent a decade in study and refinement. Every new discovery was met with accolades, personal wealth, and acceptance. With them, he finally found a family and even grew close to some of their members, becoming their chief manufacturer of potions oils, and mercenary doctoring. Than, everything changed when Helga Zanthrax took over. Friends and family were slain or fled, but Pox was given no such opportunity. Helga utilized Pox's skill in medical magic as another asset to her goals and developed with him something very loosely akin to a master and apprentice. She took his research, and he learned some of her recipes, knowledge, and magic. It was however in no way a cordial relationship. Helga used Pox, forcing him to study, to learn, to practice on kidnapped individuals and experiment to find breakthroughs, under threat that she or her lackeys would torture them herself. Pox committed atrocities, his tears streaming and hidden underneath his souless mask. At the very least Pox learned forbidden techniques and tapped into some of Helga's magics, but he is trying to figure out a way to escape with such knowledge but he is absolutely terrified of her. He is a villain in need of rescue.

"Can't we talk this out? The magic is completely designed for Pox to heal patients who are injured and to utilize magic as the primary form of medical care. This is incredibly useful when Pox is without his impliments or alchemical draughts, but it does require his journal (something he is never far away from.) This magic is time consuming and labor intensive. Potions are better for quick battle field conditions. This magic is best used for life saving procedures outside of combat. Spells

Flawless Diagnostic Technique: With a tap of a joint, feeling for a fever, checking tonsils Pox knows exactly what is afflicting his patient.
Body Mending Wellness Prana: Making motions as if repairing a tear on a coat, light and thread appear to mend the broken flesh of a patient. Meant for treating injuries, its a time consuming procedure that requires Pox and the patient to be still, like actual surgery.
Contagion Curing Touch: Using acupuncture and massaging the magic meridians of a body, he can isolate a disease into a single point to excise or expel it out of someone's system. The disgusting ball of contagion can be used for other purposes provided Pox has a container to preserve it.
Exorcise the Corruption Procedure: As above but it works with poison effects still lingering in someone's system.
Wholeness Restoration Method: Heals those that have been polymorphed or shaped via some effect or magic. Under this surgery, the body is like clay and he remolds it painstakingly back into its original shape.
The Art of Tranquility Procedure: Curses and afflictions that affect the mind and soul are lessened to the point of becoming benign. Several uses of this procedure will cleanse the system of the magic. The curse must be wholly understood to be healed.
Flash Heal: Quick and Dirty Health. Its an instant cast but expensive and it's meant to relieve stamina and stabilize bleeding wounds or other injuries so that the target can fight on. It's no substitute for healthcare and bed rest.
Benediction of Health: More of a buff, the target receives increased stamina and the ability to resist wounds and stay in the fight. Only one cast may effect a target, and the target becomes exhausted if still injured when the effect wears off.
Magic Alchemy Magic Description Pox's other forte. Partially Holder Magic, Partially Make Magic. When he not in the operating room, he's in the lab preparing his brews, oils, potions, etc. These are used primarily to remove afflictions, enhance other wizards capabilities with reagents, or occasionally inflict such curses on the enemy. Spells Potion Make: Anything Pox has understood and created in his lab and recorded in his journal can be made with magic, provided he has a container to fill it with. This can be costly so he preps himself before hand. If he happens to have the reagents on his person, the magic required is much easier. Some potions include:

Lion's Heart Elixer: Increased Resiliance to mundane effects such as exhaustion, pain, fear, and stress.
Skin of the Mountain Oil: Smeared on skin, it gives it a rocky texture, greatly increasing defense.
Mama's Little Red Potion: Greatly enhances the bodies ability to recover from injury. Great for in battle fights for that little bit of health needed to keep going.
Arcane Focus Elixer: Magical rejuvenation and enhancement. A favorite of wizard duelists everywhere. It replenishes some magical power but actually works better for increasing potency and output.
Granny's Little Blue Potion: Replenishes Magical power, makes the user quite full feeling and thus drinking any more for an hour will typically induce vomiting instead.
Fresh Breath Draught: Allows the drinker to breath under normally unbreathable conditions like underwater for one hour.
Dragon's Breath: A spicy concoction, grants the ability to breath a magical element for a few minutes, great surprise attack.
Elemental Oil: Wiped on weapons, it grants the weapon an elemental property.
Pancea: Used as a shot. It counters poison effects before they take hold in the system. Requires some pretty quick reflexes to use properly.
While Pox can revitalize an ally with his potions, he cannot replenish his own magic with his own magic. Additionally healing potions are meant to be used as quick fixes, nothing compared to proper surgery. A downed victim will need treatment which takes time and energy. Solution Make: These are more for the environment or enemies and are typically kept in breakable flasks and tossed as grenades.

Ghastly Cloud: A thick billous gas. Most of the time it is harmless, only concealing those within. However it can be modified with a few benefits. It can carry gas born poison or disease, be corrosive, magic sapping, and have a magical connection to its thrower, meaning the cloud can be instinctually shaped or even moved. Its not particularly fast, and can be carried away with the wind.
Northwind Grenade: Contains a concoction that produces a chilling pressurized gas. When smashed, the interior spheres out like the artic winds of the far north, bad enough to leave frost on every surface in the area.
Black Tog webcaster: A capture and snaring tool used by bounty hunters. Its a sticky tar like substance that coats like glue. It can only be methodically scrapped off, dissolved with a solvent (vinegar works), or will eventually just harden and brittle off in half a day or so.
Acid Flask: Used for dissolving armor, items, or people...
Knife Bark Burster: Inspired by a seed pod that bursts to spread its seeds, this bomb is a type of organic shrapnel grenade. The spiny splinters that erupt can even be poisoned.
Garda Egg: A fire element grenade that produces a sticky fiery tar like substance that keeps burning, even in water.
Fire Dust Grenade: Typical incendiary bomb, cheap and effective.
Lightening in a Bottle: Two vessels lie with, liquid seperated by glass. Tossing it breaks the glass and leads to an interesting reaction, the liquids flash solidify into what is described as writhing tentacles as if alive, and causes a massive release of charged particles. Meaning, its essentially and electricity grenade, shocking anything that gets touched by the numerous tendrils.
Pitfall Mine: A magical device made from earth elemental magic, and reactions that cause vibration. It softens the ground with sound waves forming a 10' by 6' pit.

Magic Poison Magic Description Pox uses this type of dark magic as his main form of damage and battle. While lacking the punch of Dragon Slayer Magic, the magic is no less horrible, capable of killing slowly and insidiously. Victims can walk into poison clouds and not even be aware of it without some kind of enhanced sense until they are inflicted with the symptoms and damage. Spells

Miasma: A billowing cloud of venomous green seeps from his mouth and forms around him. The Cloud is a vector for other types of magic, and partially conceals him. Its basically a type of environment magic centered around him.
Poison Make: As solution or potion make, he can form flasks and even needles and syringes of poison. He commonly uses a tranquilizer to take out opponents, but he can formulate particularly deadly poisons such as Hydra Venom. He will throw these items at his enemies or use other spells that simulate the effects.
It's Already Inside: You can't fight something inside you, and Pox shows this fact. While in the Miasma, Pox can make clones out of his gas. These are only for defense, offering the enemy shadows to waste their attacks on.
Toxic Bolt: A very simple and direct. The liquid ball of ooze is corrosive and will poison a target.
Venom Burst: A ball of poison coagulates in the Miasma and bursts into a corrosive poisonous ooze that coats targets. Again, his poison effects only aim to neutralize targets.
System Shock: If a victim gets poisoned by any effect, regardless if they are effected by it or not, it only needs to be in their system, Pox can control it while in their body as a very accurate and armor bypassing attack. He consolidates it in the victims stomach or other organ and ruptures it. On the bright side, the poison is neutralized, the downside its like getting a strong kick to the stomach or area. One of Poxes few actually damaging poison spells.
Pandemic Swarm: The gas of poison coalates into carrion birds, vermin, and locusts that swarm and attack victims in an area. Those within these swarms contend with poison and dozens of bites, pecks, and claws.
Magic Disease Magic Description Caster Magic that is designed to erode, to weaken, to sicken, entropy by another name. Its a combination of Vitriolic Acid, Degradation, and Compromising of established systems. As with posion above, they can be insidiously hard to notice. What is worse is some spells are designed to be contagious, affecting allies that attempt to aid the victim. These spells are more akin to curses as they have some pretty freaky magical and esoteric effects. Again, these afflictions are designed to weaken over time rather than flat out destroy. Save for particularly potent conditions which Pox hardly ever uses, victims will recover, and the hexes can be removed with appropriate treatment. Spells

Affliction Hex: Pox enchants an object or surface to become infectious with a type of disease. Anyone touching it becomes infected. Even the floor can be hexed, but it always resembles a symbol burned into it. The Miasma spell makes these hexes difficult to see.
Bonepuppet Dancing Flu: The Skeleton of someone starts to resist its commands and always starts with joint pain and soreness. Pox can focus on a diseased person and control their actions and movements. He cannot force them to use magic or do anything else while controlling their body.
Rusted Joints Disease: For Immobilization, The persons body becomes akin to metal joints, dripping with rust. Movement becomes very difficult and they are profoundly heavy as if made of brass. The symptoms include sluggishness and metal taste in their mouth aside from having to drag their limbs to be able to do anything.
Dreaming Pox: Colors, Smells, Sounds, even Tastes become hyper sensitive. It makes it difficult for someone to focus and sometimes the stimulation can be unbearable, effecting Aim and their preceptions. Sometimes victims get lost in the visions as there is a mildly addictive quality to them.
Apathitis: Starting as lethargy, a dullness of reaction, and a lack of enjoyment, victims find it difficult to be motivated to do pretty much anything. Victims dwell on the negatives, ask what the point is, and even seem to lose color. Particularly strong emotions can override this effect.
Vitadeficiency Syndrome: This disease makes the victim appear sickly and on occasion coughs up mucus and blood. The disease attacks the stamina and resilience of its victims, leading to additional weaknesses against attacks or even overriding resistances against types of attacks.
Wracking Weakness: Physical and Magical power are sapped from this disease that turns the skin into a purpilish color and the tongue a gross yellow. The actual effect is subtle, the victim is unaware of the act of potency until they try to hit or cast their magic and find it lacking the punch it usually does. Wears off in a half hour on its own.
Sleeping Sickness: Victims fall into deep slumber and cannot be woken up by mundane means. Typically lasts for a day and the victims wake up feeling pretty refreshed. Pox uses this on particularly hard headed patients that DO NOT GET WHAT BED REST MEANS!
Pacifism: Simply named, a general feeling of elation and well being spreads from one target to another. They are so without rage and sorrow, the drive to compete and fight is all but undesired. When attacked, they will flee or attempt to talk the person down. Even if they have to fight, their heart just isn't into it. A sparkle in the eye is a well known symptom of this condition. Lasts a few hours.
Mana Coagulation: Corrupted Magic attach the magical lines of a target, purple veins appearing on the stomach, arms, legs, and temples. Magic is greatly reduced as the flows within their body are clogged with cancerous magical cysts. It requires much more magic to use spells burning out a wizards reserves that much more quickly.
Mind Blank Syndrome: Symptoms include short term memory loss, as well as loss of how to cast randomly chosen spells. Permanent effects cannot be 'forgotten' this way, only specific actions. Memories come back in less than an hour.
Burning Soul Contagion Hex: Pox's worst disease against other wizards. Using magic has a terrible side effect, some of the magic flows of the body is inverted, twisted. The energy has no where to go but out of the wizards body with disastrous consequences. Using magic of any kind immediately results in a type of magic burn, the excess magic erupts as elementally colored fire and the wizard is not immune to their own magic. Casting spells causes terrible internal burns that scorch them from the inside.
Magic Flesh Magic Description Like Medical Magic but much much more horrifying. This magic isn't designed to heal what is broken, it's designed to improve what is already functioning. Through the same time and procedures and numerous nefarious substances, Pox can modify living tissue, offering and granting mutations and creating new types of organisms dubbed, hommunculi. Some of its uses can be a bit more benign, regrowing severed limbs, altering faces, removing excess fat and age lines, if you want to be boring. Spells

Waste not Want not: When a victim suffers a particularly egregious injury, such as dismemberment, Pox can attempt to replace the limb with anything that could conceivably work as a replacement. Another arm, clockwork prosthetics, even just some metal bars and a claw. The more complicated, the longer the procedure. The result is that the person has a new functioning limb, complete with sensory data and control, its effectiveness however is limited to whatever the limb is made of. There is a convalescence period as the body gets used to new limb and the scar tissue forms.
Miraculous Regeneration Procedure: A very long, sometimes days, sometimes weeks, Pox commits his magic to regrowing a limb of a person. It requires atleast a few hours per day to begin the process and the patient needs plenty of bed rest.
Flesh Like Clay Prana: A surgery where Pox molds the patient into something else. Age lines, scars, tattoos, even body structure can be altered in superficial ways that effect a person's appearance. He cannot increase or decrease size by more than 10%, cannot turn a lizard man into a human and vice versa, or change genders.
Spider and Octopus Remodification: As Waste Not Want Not, but it adds an additional limb or limbs. Its a good idea to have a donator on hand or create a functioning limb before the surgery. Additionally just cause someone has wings now doesnt mean they can immediately fly with them. Having an extra limb is an awkward experience that takes some convalescence to use properly.
Golem: The Pinnacle of Pox's Restorative Capabilities. Pox can partially revive and animate dead tissue into a puppet golem under his control. This process requires a lab and plenty of spare parts and preservatives, using pins, thread, and other items to essentially suture a construct together. The ritual than animates the creature. While it brushes with Necromancy, Golem uses Pox's magic as its power source, and thus he cannot make too many of these creations without alot of outside magical sources. He only dabbles with its capabilities but he has created some pretty terrifying creatures for his and his guilds protection. No creature can last more than a week, as rot, friction, and entropy turn the horrid thing into useless piles of dust.

Items

Apothecary Mask: Kind of a symbol from the family he was given at birth. Sometimes they go into plague conditions, the mask offering protection to disease and poison both mundane and magical.
Encounter Leathers: His uniform is made of greased leather that resists stains and fluids and always appears clean. Very resistant against chemicals and biologicals such as acid splashes.
Alchemical Collection of various vials and reagents.
Field Medical Equipment
Knives, saws, syringes, scalpels.
Magical Journal, which acts as an arcane item for his alchemical and medical magic.
Miscellaneous: The intention for Pox is to change sides at the first opportunity. He'll be grateful to whoever frees him from his servitude in the World Serpent. He could easily be a Guilds Primary Healer.
