We do have a right to refuse, given that it's our creative work. In any case, if someone holding to that particular belief is considered amoral, I'm afraid we'll have to peacefully disagree.
I wouldn't say they amoral, I'd say they were immoral.
Dude. I'm bi. Im still here. And hes right. Its their work, they set some rules, you abide by them. You dont have to join if you dont want to. All that he is saying is that with there religious backgrounds or other reasons that they wish not to see it via the IC.
You're are correct, they can set the rules. That doesn't mean they are free from criticism. I find it jarring that the 'no homo' rule comes right after the 'PG-13 romance is fine' rule. It reinforces this negative idea that only a few forms of love are 'legitimate'. To find two men holding hands offensive makes no sense to me.
The simple fact is that three of our main members are highly religious. They don't want to have to interact with homosexuality in the RP, but we do still allow it so long as PDA is done off-screen. I understand having apprehension about it, but it really isn't as big of an issue as it may seem.
Aw yes, the old "Don't ask, don't tell" routine. Either way I guess I'll leave you alone. However, I must ask, how often do you get flak from other people on this site? Also, has anyone tried to shut you down? Considering the number of sites you've bounced around to, I'd say people have in the past.
