This is a character concept I'd wanted to try for a while. Kind of inspired by the Edolis arc, I foresee him becoming a sort of artificer type character. He's got room to grow elsewhere, but I left that part vague on purpose... That purpose being, in part, because this was meant to be kind of an application, and he has no idea about most of it himself. I know, though... I know.

[u][b]Magic Abilities[/b][/u]

[color=C0C0C0]The Nine Great Gates: I don't know, magic battery? It's a really old magical technique my family has used for longer than we can remember. There used to be an entire clan of us, but now it's just me, my dad, and my two older brothers. Basically, it lets us store our magic energy by collecting whatever we have at the end of the day with a magic spell that just holds it. Each of the 'Gates' are a sort of seal, and each seal takes longer to open but can store more power. That's pretty much it, though. I mean, there's a technique for storing other people's magic, too, but I don't know that one. I can't actually use the magic to cast any spells, because I don't know any. I can't even access the six gates past the first circle, just the ones that are only for my personal use. I can only donate magic to any of the outer circles, and not even my grandpa knew how to access the last three gates. [/color]


[b][u]Skills and Work Experience[/u][/b]

[color=C0C0C0]This is where things get interesting. When my family forgot what all the power we store is supposed to be used for, we kept pumping energy into the collective family reserve, but we didn't have anything to do with it. That is, until my grandfather opened the first magic car transport service. Since we've got so much magic saved up, we can use magic engines to get people where ever they need to go, and fast. I've spent the past seven years as a local driver for the family business, as well as working as the main mechanic.[/color]

[color=C0C0C0]Ugh... I hit a robber with my bike once. Growing up with two older brothers, I guess I know the usual stuff about fighting. My dad made us all take basic self-defense lessons, in case someone nasty got into our car, or someone wanted to skip out on their ticket. I've never been a magic fight with a mage, though.[/color]



[b][u]Reasons for Applying[/u][/b]

[color=C0C0C0]I don't want to work for my family business for the rest of my life. With two older brothers in line to the title before me, the chances are slim it will ever be me running the place. So, I figured I'd be a lot more useful somewhere I can do more than just drive rich people around.[/color]


[u][b]Why Should We Pick You?[/b][/u]

[color=C0C0C0]Well, like I said, I'm the family mechanic. I've been tinkering around with magic engines for years, and magic items in general. In my free time, I've been working on some things I could potentially use to do some pretty amazing stuff. Everything from letting mages use magic spells they have no idea how to cast, to maybe even letting a bunch of mages work together on one spell from all over the country, maybe even the world.
Until I've goten that all done, though; Well, I've got my own magic car, a magic bike, and a magic utility vehicle I made. With all that, I can get people where they need to go. [/color]
