14 BBY. The planet Maldra is on the edge of civilised space, a desert world. A lawless world. Settled before the Clone War by people wanting to escape the hustle and bustle of a modern galaxy, escape the rules enforced by the Republic and the monopoly that spread throughout the stars. A haven of smugglers, bounty hunters and a home to people who just want to live under the banner of a free people. Some form of law has formed on the planet, a code of conduct and honour. ‘Law Makers’ existing throughout the various towns that spread across the planet. Only the most heinous of crimes punishable. During the waning years of the Clone Wars a battle was fought between the Confederacy of Independent Systems and the Galactic Republic. The Separatists won the battle, creating the settlement of ‘Haven’ in the northern hemisphere of the planet, the closest thing thing Maldra has to a city. For a period of time it was a holdout for Separatist Generals fearing their fate within the fledgling Galactic Empire. Then came the dark times. An Imperial Fleet arrived, declaring Maldra as the newest expansion in Imperial Territory. It’s lack of participation in the Republic meant that the senate could not protect the rights of its peoples or its resources, and it is now under the iron heel of the Empire. The Empire seems to show little interest in the settlements outside of Haven. What happens when Law comes to a Lawless world? That’s up to you.
OOC Information: This roleplay is set primarily on the planet Maldra in the Shadola Sector in the Outer Rim. Players will have characters coming from a range of backgrounds, all of them with one thing in common. This planet is their home for some reason or another. The Empire has moved in, bringing their rule of law and the mining guild with them. Times are changing on the planet, starting with New Haven where it’s police force has been taken over by ISB agents. Tensions are rising on the planet, and with the arrival of more mining guild forces means that things are just going to get harder. All manner of roles are available, outside of the Imperial structure. You can support the Empire, not be a fan of the Empire but for now we’re keeping players outside of the Imperial Structure. As things change an Imperial Blockade is attempting to grasp a hold of the system to try and bring the rule of Law, a new order to the planet of Maldra. Discord Link
Roles: There are basically endless possibilities for roles. With a couple of exceptions, there are no SIth. There can be One Jedi in the Roleplay, to the equivalent level of being a Jedi Knight. There can be two Force Adepts, with a similar skill level. The order they belong to, and reasoning for being on Maldra must be well explained. There can be three Force Potentials, people who are Force Sensitive but don’t know it and have no actual abilities. If you are a Force Potential a GM will consult you on whether or not you can pick up any innate abilities, otherwise you will need to be trained by someone. Faction leaders/members are allowed, so long as you PM one of the GMs ( [@Sep], [@Zarkun], [@Heat] ) with information on the gang/organisation so that it can be added to the OOC. Existing factions can be found in the Holocron.
Rules:

The word of the GMs is law. If you feel like, for whatever reason you are being treated unfairly you can dispute the GMs word only with the support of the two Co-Gms.
The Co-Gms word is legislation.
PCs can and will die. Do anything stupid and the GM will give you one out. Mess it up and you’ll probably die.
In your history reference encountering a spiced out Twi’lek you never met before trying to serve you alimony papers.
Have fun.

Character Sheet: Feel free to spice up this sheet in whatever way, shape or form you so choose. The criteria I’ve included is mandatory, anything else you want to add. Feel free.
Name: Species: Age: Appearance: Image/Description. No anime please. If you’re an exceptional pilot you can be damned sure I expect to see that in the history. Abilities: If applicable - Species specific abilities, cybernetic implants or force shenanigans. Hunters in the Guild are expected to regulate and keep an eye on other members of the guild, adhere to the code and ensure that other hunters adhere to it. It is the only settlement on the planet with an actual dedicated law enforcement division, having a dedicated police force rather than one or two independent lawmen. It hosts the main spaceport, and is home to an Imperial Garrison. It is located on an island to the north in the more temperate climate. Sheera outpost is the only known structure on the planet inhabited by the Sijins, the main Sijin settlement is hidden deep in the desert. The Sijins are a race of humans who have been on the planet longer than any other colonists, not a lot is known about the Sijins. They tend to keep to themselves, often getting violent with people attempting to approach on their territory. They have various outposts spread throughout the deserts on the main continent, many of them are uninhabited and abandoned. The Mandalorian Enclave is located in the planet’s western hemisphere along one of Maldra’s coasts. Clan Ordo built and maintains the enclave, but many clans can be found in it. It’s used to provide a safe place for wounded Mandalorians to recover and a stable source of sustenance for those Mandalorians not out in the deserts hunting or testing themselves against the planet’s whims in a dangerous game of survival. Once regularly skirmished with the Sijin locals. Outpost Aurek Enth Kril-19 was a Republic Outpost long before the Clone Wars. Located in a mountainous region north of Haven it was abandoned when an old Cruiser crashed, since then it has been used as a remote outpost in the highlands for various gangs. Controlled by the Muun Trilean, it’s classed as a neutral ground to store high interest items or for a cut of the profits he’s a capable fence for moving items no question asked. Woln is the ‘unofficial’ capital of the main island/continent on Maldra. Situated along the equator it’s the central hub for all operations throughout the great plains of Gilgamesh. This is where the mining guild have set up their primary outpost. Imperial Garrison 5 is the name of the Imperial Outpost situated in the great plains of Gilgamesh. Built into a cliffside it is built around an abandoned Sijin structure.

Not much is known about the Sijin. They have many abandoned outposts throughout the great plains, abandoned in skirmishes between the Mandalorians and the other immigrants of the planet. Pushed back to wherever their main settlement is, many have searched in the great deserts for their apparent home city however those that have returned have told stories of herds of Ko’vai and sandstorms the likes of which the planet has never seen. As such most civilised peoples don’t try and venture into their territory.

The Ko’vai are monstrous beasts that live in the great plains of Gilgamesh on the central and largest continent on Maldra. Dangerous to encounter without a sizable party or weaponry they tend to burrow under the ground and attack prey from underneath in a surprising and vicious attack. Whole desert outposts have been destroyed by these beasts. Uccux are hounds that patrol the deserts in packs. They have also been seen on the islands to the north in the more temperate climate. The only difference between these two subspecies is that the desert creature has a darker, almost black, coat while the forest subspecies has a dark green coat. This seems to be due to their nature when hunting, those in the desert will tend to come out at night whereas Uccux in the forests will primarily hunt during the day. Azun are slow moving lizards that despite their vicious looking jaws are primarily herbivores. That said it is worth noting that in cases of self defense, or starvation Azun have been known to feast on the flesh of other beasts. This is rare however due to the speed at which Azun move. Many settlements on the plains of Gilgamesh domestic the beasts and use them as beasts of burden. Many also milk the beasts, while the milk itself is disgusting it is highly nutritional and can be easily brewed into an extremely strong alcoholic beverage known as Aze. The Dik is a rodent creature, it’ll eat anything including wiring on ships, in buildings and any form of plastoids it comes across. Infestations of them in towns typically end at the end of a blaster.

Maldra is primarily a lawless planet. Law in Haven is by far the strictest, especially after the arrival of the Empire. Everyone within the city is expected to adhere to Imperial Rule, they’ve even gone as far as taking over the local police force. Murder, theft, forgery, and basically everything that Maldra was known for is now illegal in Haven. Anyone caught breaking the laws are sent to work in one of the Mining Guilds Ore Crawlers. Outside of Haven, while Imperial Rule is theoretical many settlements still adhere to the old laws, by which few things are illegal. Rape: Rape in anyway shape or form, between any gender or species is strictly prohibited. Assault in Cold Blood: Senseless assault/Murder is prohibited. Disputes can be solved with violence, however one cannot simply walk out onto the street and kill people for no reason. If the reasoning isn’t accepted by anyone in the community the Lawmen must hold a trial to determine the reason behind the killing. Grand Larceny: Theft or damage of community property is strictly prohibited, as is the theft or damage of property in excess of one hundred thousand credits. Skeebo has a small population of the human subspecies known as ‘Skeebo’ - humans who have spotted skin. A small time world in the Republic, it has pretty much escaped the notice of the Empire due to its limited resources.

The planet of Baummu hosted a world of former Separatists who harboured resentment against the new order. Captain Briera was dispatched by Imperial High Command, and is now known as the butcher of Baummu. The small inhospitable planet now has no known population.

Benwabula is a system with no planetary orbits. Asteroid belts, planets that cannot support any known life.

The Danos system hosts orbits of multiple planets, the most commonly known is Danos V. A tropical/rainforest style world with insects that can grow up to the size of a spacecraft.
Gand
Krozurbia is the homeworld of the Krozurbian Species, the species was engaged in an interspecies war for over two hundred years before peace was brought to the planet by a Jedi.
