Name: M'arash Xyil'Vor In'Yan. Lord of The Lightless City/Lord of The Abyss God of Madness Domain: Madness Appearance: While M'arash's appearance isn't set and can shift according to his will, he usually appears as a tall, bald, dark skinned man clad in long black robes with two white piercing eyes. This form is usually referred to by mortals who have seen it as the Man In Black. All mortals that enter Vesania are instantly driven mad. Scattered throughout the realm (which resides in Sub-Space) are the mutated and completely insane remnants of humans and animals that had the misfortune of passing through the Abyssal Gate and into Vesania. At the center of Vesania sits Vilor'Akash the Lightless City, a twisted and utterly incomprehensible circular formation of blackened stone buildings, spires, pillars, and strange monolithic structures. The anguished cries of those trapped within the realm echo off of its walls eternally as M'arash sits within his cursed citadel taking unbridled joy in their torment. The entrance to Vesania is the Abyssal Gate, a fifty foot high and ten foot wide stone arch with incomprehensible alien symbols and writings engraved on its surface like some kind of hellish embroidery. At the center of the gate is a dimensional rift leading to a rocky plateau overlooking Vilor'Akash with a small twisting path that leads down to the plains below. As for the location of the gate, it sits at the southernmost end of the large island directly to the north of the Pit of Ahael. Sounds and visions also emanate from the rift. Enticing sounds and visions that lure many mortals into the realm and to their doom. Biography/Personality: Despite being the god of madness M'arash is surprisingly sane. This does not hinder him however. Instead it only aids him in his quest to cause more madness in the minds of mortals. His reasons for causing madness are quite simple... He enjoys it. Notes: Misc: M'arash, despite being the God of Madness, prefers to cause insanity in his victims indirectly through an alien looking symbol with an eye in the middle, called the Dark Sigil. Mortals who see it will slowly go mad whilst using any means at their disposal to replicate the accursed shape. God's are also able to travel to Vesania through the Abyssal Gate. They are not instantly driven mad upon entering like mortals, but that does not mean the risk is not there. Gods that enter this realm must be on guard constantly, lest they to fall victim to madness.
