I plan for my adept to be a Fallanassi that focuses upon imbuing a weapon with the Force for melee combat and using slugthrowers for ranged combat. If Stormtrooper armor is immune to slugs as per the current non-EU canon, then they would have a blaster on standby for those cases.

Really, that will work for all three species, so it all really falls upon whether you'd prefer me avoid Yapi or not.
