It's that exact reason she had found herself with a contract at AS Entertainment. There are plenty of rumours surrounding April and her difficult attitude are ripe among the assorted Asian entertainment labels. The majority of which are correct. The directions she'd chosen to take musically held none of the original freedom she'd imagined artists truly had, nor were they ability to help create the vision she had. It was in this ignorance that April turned sour. To her, music was sweat and something so raw, it had a life-changing effect on the listener. She'd spent her teenage years listening to various forms of thrash and longed for little more than being respected as a solo, female artist of Asian descent within the worldwide rock scene. Outside of a promoting cycle, or outside of the public eye, she's a perfectionist with a tiny selection of anger issues. Had anyone asked her colleagues, the comments "demanding", "obnoxious", and "firey" were often used and not one with a positive undertone. Stressed - something of which was fairly obvious. She was merely the victim in an enterprise that failed to understand her rock image. It's a statement she chooses to continue believing despite knowing it's her own attitude that has prevented any reasonable success outside of the Japanese rock scene. Whilst her demeanour may suggest a sense of boredom, it can easily be described as regret. The years have passed enough for April to realise not joining an Australian company was a dumb decision. The Asian industry doesn't provide the same freedom she so desperately needs. April wasn't foul to staff members outside of first-hand arguments. Most of which came either during meetings or being the last to know her material was changing. Whilst it's in her heritage, it's not something she thinks of aside from whenever the topic is brought to the surface. Thankfully, her maternal Grandparents were adamant enough that she learn the language to speak only in their home. She found her love for music at a fairly young age, although never attended a vocal lesson until thirteen years old. Her admiration for the drums arrived shortly after puberty hit. There was something powerful about the patterns and the rhythm they created. It was enchanting enough to have a positive impact on developing anger issues. She was seventeen when she obtained her first successful audition and contract with the Japanese company Teichiku, a place in which her contracted lasted the greatest length of time. A total of three years passed with the company before she was scheduled to release. Her first single and charted with reasonable success although the arising creative differences, April turned a found herself resentful of the company. No more than six months after her initial release, her contract was simply not renewed. April floated between four further companies, based in Japan and Korea, releasing two further singles ( A and B) and one mini album before again, the contracts were simply not renewed. Presently, April remains at a total of thirteen months with AS Entertainment. Presently, she's made an effort to keep her attitude in check although there are rumours of her termination once again due to the pleasant nature of her attitude and reluctance to change. Whilst within the employment of AS Entertainment, April found an unexpected friendship in a few of the creative staff members, including longtime trainee Chae Yun-Seo.
