A bright, calm day without much of anything going on. The road running alongside the endless acres was tread by few that day, but some managed to find a reason to walk it. One of these was a young woman, clad in an old leather coat with a staff tied to her back, calmly pacing forwards. She held a small wolf-puppy with white fur in her arms as she walked. It was resting peacefully against her chest, kept nice and comfy through a small opening in the coat. Truthfully, Miya didn't have to carry her summon around in the way she did. The wolf could be a spirit and follow her just fine, not being bound to the laws of the physical realm. Still, there was something charming about the little creature. It was excitable and energetic, more full of life than some real animals. It also just kept Miya company and she was sure that the summon enjoyed being material more than it did ethereal. The wolf pup suddenly got restless in her arms, wriggling and jumping out onto the road before starting to sniff it furiously. "...Hm? What is it, Snow?" Miya crouched down and looked into the eyes of her pet, the summon responding with a high-pitched bark. Snow turned and ran forward a little, only to look back as if to beckon her master to follow. Miya blinked twice, but decided to follow along anyway. She'd only intended to go on a walk to relieve some boredom, but this wasn't the first time her small companion dragged the both of them into something. After all, it was only a day or two ago when Snow had spotted an animal fleeing from its pen as the fence was broken. Chasing after it, the both of them managed to return to a grateful farmer who offered Miya a meal in exchange for her kindness. She figured that the pup picked up on something like that again. The duo soon found themselves in a forest, luckily while still able to follow the path, where they could spot a figure in the distance. It was tough to make out as some of the trees obscured Miya's vision, but she could see a robed individual staring down a small, unidentifiable creature from her distance. Snow started to growl, which is how the summoner knew that they'd reached their target. "Shh, Snow... let's just watch for now." Miya wasn't sure why her puppy was so intrigued by the man, but she could tell that whatever he was staring down wasn't friendly. She could help if it looked like he was in trouble, but as long as neither of them noticed her she could observe to see how dangerous things got.
