[indent][color=c8ba68]If there's one element that radiates from CR's presence it is the element of youth. Long, dark hair often done up in a way to where her bangs cover her forehead with a left side sweep, with a rounded face prone to expressive displays, Cho-Rong has a seemingly effortless cute factor that makes up for her inexperience in most other aspects of the life. Rare is the time when Cho-Rong isn't smiling like a kid at Christmas - which is quite a benefit given the immaculate state of her pearly whites. If she was to have a specific style it would be 'modest' and 'reserved' with a healthy dose of 'cute' as is fitting; Her favorite outfit is a plain white t-shirt underneath denim suspender-shorts. Sure, it might come with the added benefit of showing leg, but that never factored in for her. 

Cho-Rong's youthful exuberance is her greatest asset; she's not elegant nor graceful, she doesn't radiate that raw appeal that the more experienced and older sorts do, but a winning smile and a can-do attitude will carry her through to the end. [/color][/indent][/indent]

[indent][color=c8ba68]While she comes off as youthful and cute a more accurate assessment from those in the know might instead refer to Cho-Rong as 'naive'. Having only recently been signed, as far as she knows she's the newest with only six months under her belt, she is eternally optimistic and positive. And why wouldn't she be? She's on the cusp of living out a dream and she doesn't want to jeopardize that now. As such, she is somewhat over-eager to impress and help her seniors without trying to steal the spotlight that is, to her, understandably on them. Cho-Rong is a fan first and while she doesn't know as much about her fellow AS Trainees - even those that might have debuted already - she can come off as annoying with her rampant fangirling and penchant for idol trivia. She is still firmly in the newlywed phase and given she never thought she'd be here due to her somewhat ordinary appearance that phase might well last a considerable length of time. 

Cho-Rong certainly means well, but her unflinching love of the public aspect of idols have left her blind to the reality behind the scenes. Willfully so.[/color][/indent][/indent]

[indent][color=c8ba68]Hailing from the southern region of Korea, Boseong County, Cho-Rong is as close to a down home farm girl as ever there could be. Her family are tea farmers who work on a green tea plantation; from a young age Cho-Rong often helped out where she could which mostly amounted to carrying a small bushel of leaves or helping in brewing. Cho-Rong has an incredible love of tea that is second only to her love of idols. Because of the rural lifestyle to which she was accustomed, idols on tv and the music and theatricality they promoted was like something out of a movie. They might as well have been on an entirely different planet compared to the life of a tea farmer who, despite knowing all the lyrics to Turbo's songs (She had such a crush on Kim Jong-kook as a kid), would likely just take over for the family or have a simple marriage. 

Her love of idols and their music started when she was young. The radio was a mainstay during tea harvest and Cho-Rong would insist on the poppy, dance happy songs to play just so she could dance while the others did their work. It was hardly good dancing, but she was a little kid and at that stage it was far more important to have fun and be whimsical than worry about choreography or dancing properly. If that was as close as she ever got to the idol world she likely would've been just fine with that. 

Her love of the entertainment world never waned as she grew older. When she was thirteen she took a bus to Busan to see a live performance and didn't tell her parents. They were incredibly furious when she came back the next day but the memories of that concert remained with her. By age seventeen her obsession, or fandom as the preferred term, reached an all time high when she learned that some agencies allowed people to audition remotely. She couldn't just take a trip to Seoul or even Busan so the next best thing was to put together an audition video and ship it around. Even if nothing came of it it was a fun project and her parents, who were equal parts supportive and waiting for the inevitable realization that not everyone got to be famous, supported her in the belief that this was the last hurrah. 

What she didn't count on was someone taking an interest. 

Hearing back from AS Entertainment via email was a shock, to say the least. She assumed it was some kind of spam or joke email but everything seemed legit based on her doing cursory searches of the letterhead on the email and the AS website to compare mailing addresses. The only problem was having to relocate which took considerable convincing. Cho-Rong told her parents to just let her try for a year. If she didn't make it, she'd come home, but if she did? It would be a dream come true. 

Six months on, Baek Cho-Rong is still new into her training and has decided to move into the trainee dorms to be closer to her peers and, hopeful, future band mates. So far even with the hard work her smile, dreams, and hopes still remain. Its likely they're carrying her through.

[indent][color=c83840]Most people take a glance at Becky and notice the sharp features of her face, the smokey eye, the strong jawline, the high cheekbones, and the way her medium length hair is styled to be both seductive and alluring while keeping the air of intimidation strong. While all those are present, it's really her lips that act like the cherry on top of an already filling sundae. Often ruby red or midnight black, when her luscious lips aren't pressed together in a knowing smirk combined with an upturn of the head - a look that suggests she knows how full of shit you are which puts you well out of her league - then they are smiling a coquettish smile sizzling enough to melt an ice cap. Really the face is the most powerful tool in the arsenal of a strong, sensual idol and a large part of that comes from knowing when to upturn the corners of the lips or offering a bit of a sneer with the perfect angle of the neck; never mind the fact that from the lips comes the verbiage that can hurt far deeper than any martial weapon of war. 

Of course there's more to Becky than her sizzling gazes and smoldering glances. When it comes to on stage or in front of the camera, Becky isn't afraid to embrace the more overtly sensual aspect of idols. After all when costumes include shorts that barely count as shorts it's hard to see things as some kind of pure lovey dovey sing song. She'll often wear outfits in darker colors that hug the hips and accentuate the benefits of her height; more personally she dabbles in costumes and interpretive cosplay when she can get away with it. What is an idol but a performer and what's a performer without their costume? 

If there's one thing that defines Becky's appearance, it is fierce. Fiercely striking, fiercely sensual, fiercely flirtatious, fiercely raw, and just overall fierce.[/color][/indent][/indent]

[indent][color=c83840]In many ways, Becky comes off like her favorite kind of candy: the peppermint. Much like the peppermint at first taste it's aggressive, harsh, like a bit of a fire in the mouth. In that way Becky lives up to her American side. She is unapologetic in her words and actions and that has a tendency to cause problems. She doesn't consider herself a bitch, that's left to certain primadonnas who shall, of course, remain nameless; what she considers herself is what she is: verbally aggressive with an honesty that is equal parts harsh and biting. When props are due, she gives them, when respect is earned, she gives it, when someone is at fault or wrong, she tells them. In a way it's somewhat refreshing and with Becky everyone knows that she'll not sugar coat something; it's those who can't handle criticism that tend to think the most negatively of her no matter how well deserved or insightful the criticism might well be. It's no surprise why her acting roles tend to be towards the antagonistic side. 

The other side of the peppermint is the cool, refreshing feeling it leaves you with after that initial burst of aggression. Those people who have the benefit of knowing Becky without the makeup, without the burning heat of the spotlight or the watchful gaze of the camera, find someone who, while still prone to honesty and a bit of vulgarity (old habits), is quite soft spoken and deeply into pursuits that would seemingly go against her carefully maintained persona. Cute hobbies, nerdy pursuits, and a strong love of cats; it's a side that Becky goes to great lengths to hide when the need rises but one that she isn't running from. Becky gets along well with those who are honest with her and those who take time to see beyond the facade.

[indent][color=c83840]Rebecca Lee was born in New York to a Korean mother and an American father who worked in the legal field. From a young age Rebecca loved music, but not the typical stuff you'd hear on the radio or from a music player, but the musical stylings found in everyday life. The subway pulling into station mixing with the footsteps clapping on the ground as they shuffle in and out, rain bouncing off windows, cars honking or backfiring, the music of urban living. It came as little surprise, then, that Rebecca started attending freestyles and battles - first as morbid curiosity before finally a tepid participant. Because what was freestyle except for music of the spoken word?

As her interest and ability for rap grew, she was taken out of her element when her father was assigned as a corporate lawyer for a major Korean car manufacturer which meant moving to an entirely new country at the age when that was the last thing she wanted to do. The move was hard on her and her family, ultimately resulting in a divorce. Becky's mother was fond of America while her father was far more fond of his job. Becky bounced between parents on holidays and breaks but fate decided she would stay in Korea. 

She never had any desire to fame, she just liked the sort of culture clash and experiencing a whole new country and its cultures. And yet her interest in hip hop had her auditioning on a somewhat known competition reality show. While she didn't win, she made it to the third round: the battle round and got a bit too cocky for her own good which was her own undoing. She made an impression, though, and AS Entertainment was there to offer her a contract, pending performance and commitment to training. 

Becky accepted and found that she acceled in three particular areas: Rap, Acting, and Language. Her passion always was on rapping, and her freestyle ability and blending of Korean and English was a unique blend that served her well while she took to acting naturally given the sort of persona Becky Lee is whenever the cameras roll. 

Should this whole idol thing not work out, be it because of her causing controversy or something similar, she hopes she can transition to actual acting or a rap career. She certainly has the bars for the latter. [/color][/indent][/indent]
