I'd like to thank my boyfriend for getting me into the [b][i]phenomenal[/i][/b] video game series known as Monster Hunter. I was skeptical about the skill-based Action RPG gameplay, especially since the games can be VERY difficult when they want to be, but after starting with Generations, I've actually reached a point in that game where I can consistently solo Hyper Monsters, even some of the tougher ones, as well as the multiplayer final boss and other very tough multiplayer-scaled monsters. I've fallen in love with Generations so much that I asked for Generations Ultimate for my birthday before I even got a Nintendo Switch, which I'm now waiting on for when Christmas rolls around.
