Or maybe just the site of inconsiderate adventurers not shifting destroyed skeletons out of the way. Still, even this deathly silence was enjoyable, and Nano continued his slow steps through the castle ruins, his eyes widening only when four intact skeletons appeared around the corner. Stopping, Nano tilted his head at their unmoving nature, before removing one of the stones in his pockets. He kept to the walls, speedwalked towards the cover of those fallen bricks, and, once he was out of sight, tossed a rock over in the general direction of those skeletons before waiting for a reaction. The coal-eyed youth could, of course, have simply slipped past them, but if he was going to have to run away through the same path back, he certainly didn’t want to crash into any ‘living’ skeletons along the way.
