This is an interest check for a 40k Space Marine Chapter Nation States game.

Here is the system:

1.) I am Chapter Master, my Word is the Word of the Chapter, the Word of the Chapter is Law.
2.) You are Company Captains, you are [u]MY[/u] company captains. 1st Company Veterans (Terminator Company) is restricted. You can apply for any company type, use your imagination, but there will only be 1 of each type.
3.) I only want 5 players. The Chapter will start under half strength and you / we have to rebuild it. I will be selecting the best constructed app from the pool submitted. I will accept talented amateurs and veteran master players, as well as people with the X-factor (whatever -that- is).
4.) In addition to your company type, i will want a Player Character sheet for your captain. Again, use your imagination, everything had to be created in 40k for the first time by someone. Usually a tabletop player and not a fancy pants writer for GW.
5.) I will assign resources to you as the chapter master to help in the execution of your duties. With emphasis on the word DUTY. You would do your duty to the Emperor if you were naked on the battlefield armed with nothing but a spoon and a mean-spirited disposition. Expect scarce resources.
6.) We are a nomadic fleet based chapter, you will be given a ship each and get to control it. We will be [url=https://i.ytimg.com/vi/PGgWm5M-wTQ/maxresdefault.jpg]exploring[/url] a local system of about a dozen stars. You will follow orders to deploy to certain areas. Expect to have to peel back the fog of war to discover stuff.
7.) You will be fighting multiple fronts against multiple threats. As GM i will periodically lie to you. We're all big boys and girls, you're going to have to learn to cope with the concept that a source might pass you false information because they are working for the enemy. You cant be a muscle-head, otherwise the brain will take control of the muscle.
8.) The Chapter itself will be defined by me, however there is a wide latitude for what [u]you[/u] can make it; i will incorporate any idea which is good and isnt a [url=https://i.kym-cdn.com/photos/images/original/000/613/323/e2e.jpg]mary sue[/url], consider your options wisely. I basically will simply bracket what it can and cant be and most else is left up to you. Things you must do in this RP: Take [u]Initiative[/u]. Take Responsibility. Be [u]honest[/u]. Have [u]Discipline[/u]. Be creative. Have a thick skin. Dont do anything your boss wouldnt do. Show a little [u]flair[/u]. 
Things your character must do: 1.) Honour themselves 2.) Not use contractions, space marines dont use contractions 3.) Be willing to serve the Emperor 4.) Develop opportunities for themselves. 5.) Medium term goals. 6.) No excessive memeing IC pls, memeing OOC is free.

Know the difference between work and play, outside and inside, IC and OOC. Female player applicants fine. Gay player applicants fine, just be reasonable please the game universe is ultra-conservative and will be enforced. Im aiming for 10% Canon flexibility, no canon rules lawyering nazis pls, 'been playing 40k since 3rd edition. FYI we have not been re-enforced with primaris and dont know of their existance.
