Mechanics I will control NPCs, like the Vampiric Horde, as well as give events to the players. The players respond to these events and react to each other. There are some stats below in the form of percentages. Each nation will be given specific starting percentages, and will be able to raise or lower all of them through the course of the rp. Different events will happen at different percentages. Losing is a distinct possibility, and surviving will be difficult. But its not just hard for the sake of it. This is supposed to be a thrilling experience that has you on the edge of your seat. ___% Terror- This is the amount of widespread horror and fright of civilians in your nation. This is heavily affected by proximity to the Horde and how safe the people feel from it. The more land you or nearby nations lose to the Horde the more this percentage rises. At 100% your nation will begin collapsing as people try to flee the nation en masse. ___% Morale- This is the spirit of the military. Victories, more/better equipment, and other successes will raise it. Defeats, victories that are far too costly, and other losses will lower it. At 0% your military will go into total collapse. ___% Military- This is also about the military, but specifically how large and well equipped it is. 100% means that, for the situation you're country is in, it is the best it can be. Less than 100% means that you might have poor/inefficient number of equipment, and/or too many people in the field. At 0% your military is either all dead or doesn't have any weapons at all, though its best to keep it far above that if you want to survive. ___% Health- This is the health of the nation. At 100% you have a booming economy, enough food and materials for everyone, could provide some help to other nations without hurting yourself at all, and is generally excelling despite the situation. Getting beat up or surrounded by the Horde is a great way to lower this. If you aren't dumping an exorbitant amount of money into your military, or helping other nations despite not being at your best, then your health gradually increases over time.
