[@CaptainSully] Joseph wasn't sure why he stumbled towards Club Aether that day. Maybe it was the fact that he'd heard something about everything being half price, and hoped against hopes that the place sold food. Probably that, actually, he'd been living off fish he'd managed to catch for the last two months, and it was beginning to get a little old. It also had the only somewhat pleasant side effect of attracting the local... 'wildlife'... As if it had heard his thoughts and taken it as a cue, the tabby kitten that had been following him around ever since he started fishing for survival decided this would be the perfect time to dig it's claws into his legs and climb up to his shoulder, hence why what would have been an at least somewhat dignified entrance ended with him nearly tripping in the door frame. "Why..." He said with a wince of pain, turning to glare at the tiny cat. In response, the manipulative little bastard licked his cheek, and even though he knew it was just trying to get any leftover fish taste from a week ago, he couldn't bring himself to stay angry. Instead, he settled with sighing and making his way to the bar, pulling seventy dollars worth of five and ten dollar notes. "Hey man..." He said, his voice weary. "I know you probably don't serve food here, but do you have any... I don't know, snacks or anything? As seems to be the trend lately, I'm pretty sure I'm kinda starving to death at the mome-..." At that very moment, a particularly loud growl of his stomach signaled the coming disaster, and he wound up sliding down the side of the bar and collapsing. Thankfully, the kitten managed to jump onto the bar as soon as he felt Joseph begin to tilt in place, before jumping down onto the floor to continue licking fish flavour from his cheeks. "It's ok." Joseph called tiredly from the ground, although it was slightly muffled due to him having landed almost fully face down. "I'm not dead, just close. I don't need an ambulance, just food." His eyes flicked to the kitten. "Hey Jiji," he grumbled. "you do realise that if I'm hungry enough to collapse, I probably don't have anything for you, right?"
