It is tragic when a young person dies. I recall the year I came off active duty in the US Army. I was 21 years old. In Massachusetts you had to be 21 to drink alcohol, but in Vermont, they allowed 18+. So, most of the young people drove to Brattleboro, VT to do their partying. A young man who must have been 19 or 20 was driving home with a friend on Interstate 91 after a night of drinking and I suspect he was snorting cocaine. That was something he did. Based on the tire marks on the road, it was estimated his car was traveling in excess of 110 MPH when it flipped over and crashed on the side of the highway. There were over 500 in attendance at his funeral; standing room only.
