It was an interesting and partially ironic thought from more than just the obvious perspective. As they ascended the stairs to the elite deck, Gene wasn't too surprised of course that they were waved through without much hesitation. Lady Munn and Lady Kingston were well off white British women - security wouldn't spend too much time questioning them. Nora was a bit relieved when she found that she still had her ticket, showing it as the guard waved them through. She was a bit surprised at how easily accepted it was that a small tiny thing like Gene was a guard - or perhaps security on this vessel didn't care and figured they had more complex and pressing matters to worry about. She followed her friend dutifully, wondering herself how much protection Gene could truly provide for them. Perhaps George had taught her some things about combat? "...Lady Munn, get back," Gene said confidently, as the door to the room was open and it was in shambles. She put a firm grip on Lady Munn's arm to steady her. "Let me have a first look - you'll just get yourself hurt, alright?" Gene continued. There was a bit of an old spirit look in her eyes. The situation didn't shock her or surprise her. Her brother thought she needed protection for a reason - and Gene didn't want Lady Munn to trip over a clue that might explain what happened. "...Lady Munn, did anyone else have the key to your room?" Nora asked, having a miserable feeling that something crucial to their expedition had been stolen. Logically, Nora supposed that the staff of the boat must have spare copies of keys to all the rooms, in order to clean them or just to replace a missing key that a patron misplaced. Of course, there was the possibility that the lock had been picked.
