Weaknesses: It is strange but Rapture is a being of faith.  It exists by the collected consciousness of mortal belief.  It is a parody of all heavenly beings mashed together into a mass of existential horror.  It glows with holy light, reaping sinner and saint alike, because among them the beliefs differ.  The saints believe they will ascend while the sinners are left behind, or are swallowed up into an enternal hellish nightmare.  The difference hardly matters when its roiling tentacles seize you and attempt to drag you into its opened maw and golden light.  

Be that as it may... Rapture is fueled and controlled by belief.  It looks angelic to awe and inspire, ravishing a mortal's senses and thus they are touched by it, most often striking the fear of god into them.  A true being of faith or with none, one who can truly quell their fear and their faith and deny the monster in their hearts cannot be harmed by it.  If one does not believe in the monster, it does not exist to them.  It is why the monster tries to appear to as many mortals as possible.  Perhaps it exists only within their souls and need for a place in this huge universe, a higher power, made manifest.  But in that regard, what is a god to a non-believer afterall?

Additionally, a powerful enough belief may change the monster's very nature.  It is nigh benign, even beneficial to those crazy enough to worship it.  An actual living god to answer their prayers.

Hello, heres my monster WIP

I want to try something kind of metaphysical.  Kind of cosmic horror, kind of plays on religious beliefs.  An angelic being that wants to indoctrinate all of humanity into a cult that worships it, but whose nature in itself is controlled by its worshippers.  A living god in all but name.
