Having the mindset that hard work pays off, Ari strives to showcase that by taking whatever opportunities he can to be able to use it to his own advantage. Every moment he can seize can be a stepping stone to success. Deep down the millennial is full of self-loathe, hurt, and angst, brought on by his drive to succeed. He expects the world by working hard and wants to do it his way, with no handouts. There are times when he can seem off-putting to others as he is goal-oriented, but sometimes his laser focus determination shows off as an arrogant asshole or just a plain snob. Under all the layers, Ari genuinely is a sweet, loving guy who just wants to do right by his friends and family.
[sub] Appearance[/sub] [sub][sup]▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔[/sup][/sub]

[sub]Height: 6'½" Weight: 153lbs Physical Description: At first glance Ari has a lanky and slim frame, but underneath he is solid rock, having a sturdy physique from lifting weights for when baseball and training to keep up with all the other top athletes was the only thing on his mind. His stance is cool and slouched, often with his hands in his pockets and his mind wandering. Fashion Style: Ari has a simple style that can be only deemed as boyish, made up of button-ups, sweaters, cardigans, and whatever else you can throw on in simple saturated tones. Little accessories make up the rest of his wardrobe, with bracelets and watches being a major thing, not to mention his pierced ears. His mother, the silent rock that lifted him all throughout his life, taught him what real love was, which was one the thing he cherished the most. Ari's father was Takahiro, a chairmen of one of the largest broadcasting companies in Tokyo, a position he had inherited from his own father, Shiro. With the Kaneko clan having a second generation on the board of Eastern Classic Group, they were going to continue the tradition with the only son Takahiro was able to have in Ari. Being raised by both his father and his grandfather's standards gave Ari a strong sense of direction. The road might have already been paved for him, but that didn't stop the Kaneko men from teaching and disciplining Ari in whatever they could. He was trained in traditional Japanese martial arts as a form of respect to his culture, also instilling a strong sense of discipline for the young man. Soon though, with sports becoming a major part of his life, Ari found a passion in baseball, something that surprised his family. Training all throughout his time in school, Ari became an up-and-coming talent and was scouted and sought out after appearing in both the Spring and Summer Koshiens all throughout his high school career. Of course, Ari decided, or rather was forced, to attend university instead of entering into the Nippon Professional Baseball league. He was given an ultimatum of either attending university to finish his studies or to be disowned by his family and lose out to all the resources they had. To his luck though, he was able to attend Hosei University and continue baseball as it was one of the schools that were part of the Tokyo Big6 Baseball League, a collegiate league for the surrounding universities in Tokyo. At Hosei Ari studied and graduated with a Business degree, by his families decree. After graduating Ari finally did something for himself, giving his family an ultimatum of his own. He wanted to join the NPB and play and would join the board of trustees and become a chairmen for EC Imports without complaint once his father was ready to retire. Reluctantly and barely agreeing to his terms, both his father and grandfather agreed to them, allowing the young man to follow his dreams. He soon joined the Fukuoka Softbank Hawks as one of their many pitchers and played for two years, up until an injury that left him unable to continue playing. With his dreams of becoming a professional athlete shattered, Ari spiraled down out of control. He abused drugs, money, and women, tarnishing any sort of respect that he had built up before. Ari was given one last chance to refocus himself as his father agreed to ship him off to California in an effort to put his son's degree and drive to good use, by the convincing tongue of his mother. Once in California, Ari took up odd-jobs in whatever companies would hire him. A lot of it was fluff work until his father stepped in, again by the request of his mother. Takahiro pulled some strings in the Asian-American entertainment industry and Ari was given a shot to work at one of the budding social companies in Los Angeles. Starting from the bottom of the barrel, he worked hard, but always managed to make sure to play just as much too. Ari managed to catch the eye of Oskar Andrea, one of the Co-Founders of Honey Lake Records at a charity event held for Asian-American artists in LA for his strong planning and work ethic for a successful event that he was offered a job with the record label. The position was small, but it was a start to something worthwhile.
[sub] Miscellaneous[/sub] [sub][sup]▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔[/sup][/sub]
▶ Ari is a hāfu.
