Her armor is not quite as high level or powerful as it could be, but is nevertheless extremely sturdy and well maintained by her husband, whose character is/was a blacksmith. Visually, when one gets a look at MamaFang, they typically think back to the Crusaders of old, albeit with a tinge of fantasy added in with the addition of the massive great-shield. Background: A stay at home mother, Dorothy had always been a NEET. In her youth she stayed inside and happily watched as the world of technology grew around her. While many people her age were getting jobs or thinking about relationships, Dorothy was hidden inside with her childhood friend and soon to be husband Jacob. At 19 the pair moved in together, with Jacob providing most of the income while Dorothy did her best as she tried to fulfill her dream of becoming an internet personality. At age 21, Dorothy found she was pregnant. The birth of the little girl was the highest point of Dorothy's life, and it was only now that she realized what people meant when they had been telling her about their children. When her little girl was 5, Dorothy happily watched her grow up, albeit a bit disappointing that she did not show any real interest in the world of gaming until the release of Elder Tale, and even then only played sporadically. Nevertheless Dorothy was happy, and determined to find that spark hidden within her daughter and bring it to life. In Game History: Pure Chaos, while she had logged on with her daughter, it took her a week before she finally found her. The rest of this month was spent doing what MamaFang did best, rounding up the terrified and confused newer players and helping them cope and learn with the world around them. MamaFang adjusted frighteningly quickly, her instincts as a mother kicking in as she realized she needed to keep calm and collected if she and her little girl were going to get through this at all. Guild/Position: (Guildmaster) The Fang Family, before the game became all too realistic, The Fang Family was a guild dedicated to helping newer players learn about the world around them and how it worked before being tricked into a guild, or simply making an ill informed decision. Though technically one of the larger guilds on the server, with nearly 90% of it's population fluctuating and being players below 30, it is by no means a powerful guild, influential? Yes, many larger guilds either left them alone or even allied with them, as a new recruit from The Fang Family meant they would spent less time and resources training and teaching. There was also the fact that The Fang Family heavily influenced the newer players, and if any one guild seemed to be overly hostile The Fang Family could redirect the flow of newer players away from them and into better suited guilds. Personality: Loud, protective, nagging, If ever a party needed a mother MamaFang was always it. She fussed about her teammates, always making sure she could keep them safe in any respect she could. Her build reflects this, using armor and skills that allow her to become the focus of a fight and keep her allies safe. She is a calm and collected individual during combat, always keeping an eye on those around her, be they enemy or ally. Skills: Shield Swing:Wielding a Shield, rush into an enemy and deal a heavy blow to an opponent. This skill consumes slightly more MP, but has a wider range of effect; if correctly positioned, the user can hit multiple enemies. The damage output of this skill depends on the Shield's Defense stat. Taunting Blow:Increase Hate towards yourself while attacking by using large gestures. A basic skill of Guardians who play the True Shield role. Anchor Howl:Establish yourself as a threat to the enemy by raising a loud cry, a powerful Guardian provocation skill that instantaneously raises your own Hate. Since you are taking the brunt of the enemy's attacks, you gain a DEF boost for a short while, a reason why Guardians are good on the front lines. While defense is increased, the Guardian's armor glows. Castle of Stone:Become the pinnacle of defense, an immobile fortress of stone that can take all damage for a short duration. It is one of the strongest defense skills, exclusive to Guardians. When this skill is in effect, the user's body looks like it is made of marble. Covering:Before enemies can get too close, stand in their way to defend another member of your team and take the damage for them, another signature skill of the Guardian class. Because you have to be in position before activating the skill, the party's formation is important. Cool Defense:Be a calm and reassuring defense in any situation. Reduce any damage taken by a certain percent during the duration of this skill. The effect increases with the amount of damage taken, but also uses up MP, so most people use it in a short duration of time when under heavy attack. Fortress Stance:Turn into a weaponless, defense-oriented, steadfast fortress. You cannot be pushed back by or wince at an opponent's attack, and your defense increases. Useful in long, drawn-out battles against multiple opponents. A blue aura manifests at your feet when this skill is in use. Steady Bulwark:Ready your shield in a defensive pose to reduce damage. A dome-shaped light encases your allies within a certain range, applying the damage reduction effect to them as well. The higher the Defense of your shield, the greater the effect of this skill. Resilience:Showing the durability of a Guardian's strong body, recover HP during battle as if you were resting. HP is gradually recovered, but not at the rate of a Druid's heal-over-time spells. It is useful for continuing long battles, though. Armor Crash:Using a heavy weapon such as an Axe or Hammer, deal a heavy blow on an opponent's armor and lower their ATK and DEF. Equipment:
The Crusader's Skin set consists of 4 pieces to gain the full effect, with an optional 5th piece ( Weapon ) 1 Item - Base hp pool is increased by 25% 2 Items - Crowd control effects such as slows, silences and stuns only last half as long on you. 3 Items - Healing skills used on you also restore an additional .5% of your total mana pool. Healing effects that take place over time can only proc this effect 4 times per skill. 4 Items - Your total defense rating is increased by 25% and every 60 seconds, any healing skill used on you removes 2 seconds from any skills currently on cooldown. __________ Crusader's Vengance: The Fifth and optional piece of the " Crusader's Skin " set, " Crusader's vengeance is a 3 sphere flail. Basic attacks made by " Crusader's Vengance " ignore 10% of the target's total defense rating, and grants access to the weapon skill " Readied Flail. " Readied Flail: You move your flail in a circular motion, speeding up as time goes on and slowing your movement speed by 15% up to 20% as the skill is 'Charged' once charged, the flail strike ignores 15% of a target's defense value and causes a 5 second 30% slow. Targets wearing medium or light armor are bled for 20 points every second for 3 seconds for each sphere that strikes them. Targets wearing heavy armor will instead be stunned for 2 seconds for each sphere that successfully makes contact, preventing the use of abilities. Her tail and ears match her hair color, and are more often on display than her mother. Her armor and weapons are simple, but well made. A thick chain-mail shirt over a thicker cloth gambeson, a solid iron shield and a single headed iron flail. Background: Born into a family of gamers, Samantha never really saw the appeal. She was more interested in running track or writing. Though, when Elder Tale came out, and she watched her mother play it, she slowly gained an interest in the fantastic world of gaming. New to the scene, she played rarely, and often with the help of her mother. Even at level 48 she still has yet to properly get used to gaming, and often forgets to check her own hp bar, use skills, ect. Nevertheless she is slowly learning, and when by her mother's side she is surprisingly effective. In Game History: Pure unadulterated terror. The game was fun, but if anybody had told her this would happen, she would simultaneously laugh and avoid the game completely. She had no idea how some people were taking things so well, just a week apart from her mother nearly gave her a heart attack. Eventually though, she learned to ignore her fear and confusion and went to work helping her mother with the players somehow newer than her, some being somehow even younger. Guild/Position: The Fang Family / Member Personality: Confusion, Loyalty, a giant heart. TinyFang always does her best to help, though she often ignores her own safety to do so. If putting herself in harm's way means helping somebody else, then she will happily do so. She enjoys sweets Skills: Cure: A close range skill that removes debuffs and heals for a tiny amount. The amount of debuffs removed depends on the level of the caster compared to that of the one who had applied the debuffs. Healing light: A short ranged healing skill with a short cool-down that heals a single target for a fixed amount depending on user level. Even at higher levels this skill is outclassed by other healing skills, but it's short cool-down makes it a favorite of TinyFang, who often forgets cool-downs exist anyways. Shield Bash: A skill taken from the Guardian class using the War Priest subclass, the user moves forwards and slams their shield into a target, providing a very short stun that might do very little in the way of crowd control, but can effectively interrupt casting or distract a single target. Steady Bulwark: A skill taken from the Guardian Class using the War Priest subclass, The user readies their shield in a defensive posture to reduce damage and encases allies within a certain range to the sides and behind in a dome shaped light, reducing damage done to them as well. This skill uses a steady amount of MP for the entire duration of it's use, instead of using a flat number, making up for it's short cooldown. Healing Presence: A passive skill, Allies within a short range of the cleric gain a small HP regen buff. Though not enough to completely replace another real healing skill, this is a rather effective skill no matter the level as most of it's scaling comes from the individuals who gain the buff depending on their total HP. So no matter your level, Healing presence's buff effectively restores 1% of the total HP pool every three seconds, making it a powerful tool in long winded fights as it uses nearly no mana, only stunting base mana regeneration. Allies under the effect of this skill gain a small light blue plus sign on their chests. Equipment:
Being the daughter of a level 90 has it's perks. A 5 piece low level armor set, Tiny Fang has three pieces. [1 item -] Your base hp pool increases by 15% [2 items -] Your healing skills cost 10% less mana to use/upkeep [3 items -] Unlocks rank 1 of active skill " Oath " [4 items -] Unlocks rank 2 of active skill " Oath " [5 items -] Unlocks rank 3 of active skill " Oath " Oath:Active Skill Rank-1 Select an ally within 5 feet and make an Oath, increasing the amount of healing done to them by you. Oath lasts 5 minutes and cannot be reapplied until combat ends for both people involved in " Oath " Rank-2 Both you an your ally gain 10% increased armor value, and you gain a 15% movement speed increase when moving in their direction. Rank-3 Both you and your ally have increased mana regen, and half of the healing done to your ally is copied onto you.
