Zachaeus is the king of the Xelwyth Imperium, also known as the Lands Under Twilight. He has benevolently ruled this kingdom of both the supernatural and mundane for over five thousand years, but is now ready to pass on his throne to one of his sons should they successfully pass his test.

Zachaeus can move about during the daytime but he can only do so for three hours at a time before having to return to the Castle.

Zachaeus carries a six foot long spear named Bloodline that he has imbued with ancient blood magics. These enchantments simultaneously boost his powers and weaken his enemies with each blow he lands with the weapon. This effect can be negated if Bloodline is taken from him however.

While Zachaeus does not use it often, he can draw upon the powers of Blood Magic to manipulate the blood of others to varying degrees. While he prefers to manipulate it once it has left his opponents bodies, Zachaeus can control blood that is still inside of his targets but not without some difficulty due to how often it is moved throughout the body via the heart.
