With both of the parents reasonably wealthy, Elizabeth didn't have to get a job to support herself when she went to college, in an attempt to get a degree in mechanical engineering. Despite the woman's obvious genius, the rate at which she understood her given subjects seemed unnatural. Several times during lessons, Elizabeth would draw up schematics on engines, electro-magnets and several other devices, while they were all theoretical and impractical, they all seemed like they would work, if built. This continued as she decided on her minor, electrical engineering, circuit boards, computers became like building blocks to her, simple as could be. In six quick years, she obtained her doctorate degree, her final research paper being based on an innovation of centuries old steam engine, that could have made it much more fuel efficient. With college over, Elizabeth quickly threw herself into the work force, managing to get a job at a computer company. A few years of basic work, she eventually was trusted with new prototype CPU that would potentially shift the market into the company's favor. Five months into the work, she submitted her own design and prototype, 7 month before the deadline. She quickly sold the patent of her own design to the company and decided to leave, in order to start her own company. After all if she could do things this easily, why work as the middle man? In a year, Miyasaki Technologies was a thriving company in Japan, most of it's business thriving on new patents that Elizabeth had come up with. With her business doing very well in Japan, Dr. Miyasaki set her sights on expansion to other countries. The entire world heard about the terrorist attack in Lost Haven. Most people saw it as a tragedy, but Elizabeth saw it as cheap real estate.
