Dead silence was the only thing that replied to the young man. There were no sign of anyone in the village, not even guards to unjustly threaten him. This silence and peace unnerved Ethan. From what he had heard, this town should have been on high alert to the point that if someone were to even see a traveler approaching they'd call to arms to defend their homes...yet not a soul was present. [color=tan]"Silent and cold, like the first snow of Frost Fall."[/color] The man muttered to himself. At least the last town had the decency to acknowledge his presence. There was something that caught his attention though, a faint rustling from a large two storey building. Walking closer to the building, he looks for any sign or clue as to what caused the sounds; or better yet, the supplies he needed to pick up.
