Adam Hill
Running a hand through his somewhat messy mop of hair, he chuckled for a moment. "Heheh, sweetie, that's a new one." He ran his eyes over his partner for a moment, before opening his mouth again: "You were homeless at one point in time, the way you carry yourself suggests that." Adam probably could have come up with something better then that, but he didn't want to accidentally pry into Rainna's life a little to much. "Pleased to make your acquaintance Rainna." Adam gave no indication that he remembered the party or the events that had unfolded outside, but within his ever working brain, he was running analyses, still trying to figure out what the trade off had been about. One conclusion he'd come to was that the Headmaster had a son none of them had been aware of, even if this seemed unlikely, and some shadowy group used that as a bargaining chip to get some sort of weapon that could be used to destroy the superhuman populace. Less likely a scenario was that it was all a big misunderstanding and they were trading for something that belonged to the other because they'd each lost something. The Headmaster did seem like the kind to forget a child on occasion, but this was more of a humorous possibility then anything. Still in thought, Adam's mind unconsciously took hold of several dead leaves lying about on the ground, slowly decaying away, lifting them from the ground they lay upon, and let them dance around Rainna, much like tiny ballerinas. He'd never watched a ballet, but he had a faint idea as to how they moved, plus, they were just leaves, it wasn't difficult to spin them like corkscrews in the air. "Enjoy my party tricks?" A few lose stones lying scattered about on the ground rose up lazily and landed in his open palm, and his lips curled into a small grin. [@Raptra]
