Gale watched the others during the debris test. Alexa held her own fairly well until she ran out of breath. When Orca asked someone to take her to the infirmary, Tokiko was the first to answer. Gale was pretty sure that he would hear something about that from her later on. After the test, he would go to check on her. Finally it was Gale's turn. Getting a glimpse of what the test looked like made him much more confident in his ability to dodge the oncoming debris. After all, his Quirk was pretty much made for evasion and stealth. He took his place in front of the machine. "Are you ready?" Orca asked. "Let's do it." Gale said confidently. His plan was to slip into the shadows and wait out the debris until it could no longer fire. The only issue was time. Gale couldn't hide in the shadows for too long. If he did, once he emerged from the shadows, the light would be blinding. The longer he hid the worse the side effect. The machine began to spin up and fire debris left and right. Gale took a breath. He'd worry about that part later. He took a step backwards and slipped into his shadow. One minute passed. Two minutes passed. Gale sat in the shadows waiting for the machine to finish firing. The longer he waited the more it seemed the machine had an endless amount of amount. He thought for a moment. It would be foolish to emerge from the shadows with the machine still running. He would not only run the risk of being blinded but also getting smacked with a ridiculous amount of cement. His best bet would be to disable the machine itself. He walked underneath the machine. It produced a small shadow big enough for him to slip his arm through at least to his shoulder. He reached up and felt around the machine looking for the power switch. CLICK! The machine slowly wound down to a stop. Gale took a deep breath. He emerged behind Gang Orca using his shadow. It took a while for his eyes to adjust to the sunlight. When his eyes regained their focus, he smiled. "How did I do?" "Well done," said Orca, "though it seems your Quirk has a detrimental side effect."
