Just a little rub and squeeze from these suckers and anyone'll be feeling as good as new. Not being weird, I promise! When I use my magic, my hands get covered with a gel-like substance that can soothe most types of wounds, from burns and bites to slashes and rashes. So if I'm planning on using it, I have to take my gloves off and get in there myself. If the salve isn't applied through my hands direct to the wound, it won't heal anyone. Too bad, though, because if we could just bottle the stuff and sell it, my family wouldn't need to work at all. Anyways, we've taken to calling it Salve Magic, because it's the magical salve that's created that really does the heavy lifting. People say then when the salve touches their wound, it usually feels cold, then really hot. I've been using it all my life, so I'm pretty confident in its reliability... the main thing to watch out for is that it can take me awhile to generate enough of the stuff to do a bunch of healing at once. Mine's not the most damaging magic, obviously, but I'd imagine that ally healers are a welcome sight on any battlefield. I might not have the prettiest magic, but it gets the job done.

Skills and Work Experience
Well, I've spent enough time around brews and concoctions to find my way around most apothecaries. I had to forage a lot of the ingredients myself, too, so I have an intermidiate understanding of what a lot of different plant and animal products can do. I've had a lot of fun experimenting with different ingredients to make projectiles and potions. So you can come to me for your basic alchemical needs. I don't have a lot of formal training, but I'm sure there must be some resources in and around Seafalls I can use as reference. Aside from that, though, I can do the basic chores and busywork it would take to do my part. Dishes, laundry, cleaning, whatever. I don't mind so long as there's some sort of schedule to keep things even.

Combat Experience
I'll admit that my fighting experience is quite limited. I'm not really trained at all, but I do know my way around my grappling hook. I made it myself with some jungle Tigervine- the stuff is elastic and strong, and the hook I bought from a metalsmith near the capital. I've used it for exploring, not fighting, but I think that I can probably manuever it enough to lasso someone if I really set my mind to it. Or not. Either way, I'm prepared to learn more about combat. Folks call me scrappy, so while I probably won't hold off any trained fighters, I'll muscle up enough to stand my ground next to everyone else.

Reasons for Applying
Well, if I'm being honest, if I was looking to get rich or famous, I wouldn't try to join a fledgling guild. But what can I say? Maybe there's something special about being a founding member of an organization- getting to create traditions and march to your own beat is always nice. Maybe that sort of mellow atmosphere sounds better to me than a regimented system of quotas and jobs, or maybe I just want to watch the guild gain notoreity and help take some of those well-established traditionalists down a peg. Then again, maybe I just feel if someone plans on locating rare and rumored magical artifacts, a good place to start would be around other mages. Seafalls city is as good a place as any other maritime city to find almost anything, especially with all the city's visitors and the growing crime rings... It just seems like adventure starts wherever the chaos stirs, right?

Why Should We Pick You?
Sure, any guild can have an infirmary or medical ward, but I guarantee that my healing magic will be way more affordable and convenient than anything on the market. How many guilds get to say that they have their very own dedicated healer? And if you already have someone on-call? Great! Hospitals seem so awfully overcrowded anyways, it'll be nice to help lighten the load. I'm not super concerned, because we'd be a new guild, so what are the chances that the infirmary would be full all the time? Not to mention, my magic pretty much forces me to be a team player, so if we're out on a mission, just consider me a human recovery pack. As long as we all understand each other, I'll be happy to support any member of the guild.
