As the classes shuffled onto the bus, Yin thought she'd approach Riku...just to tell him how cool he was during the provisional exams but as soon as she mustered up the courage to do so, she saw him talking to a voluptuous older classmate. Her face felt slightly hot as she rushed to talk to someone else in order to figure out a seating arrangement. Seeing Yin’s frustration Herito walks over to her, puts his hand gently on her shoulder and smoothly whispers in her ear. “ Well looks like someone else took the seats we both wanted. How about we sit together, I promise you will not regret it. Plus I really want to get away from my lil sister.” After hearing this Yin’s face was no longer red with frustration, but more so red with embarrassment. “Herito, I really don’t know what you’re talking about”she said flatly, as she moved some of her curls from in front of her face. She sprinted away from him and joined the bus line. There was no way Alexa could hide the nervousness as she followed some of the students on the bus. “W-We’re with the upperclassmen? What are we gonna do?” She tried to keep her voice low as she thought to herself. Her fears were taking and over all of her focus and caused her to bump into Yin’s shoulder. “I’m so sorry!” Yin turned around angrily thinking it was Herito again, but quickly tried to hide her expression. “It’s Cool, Alexa.”She said with a sigh. The anxiety Alexa exuded was really starting to trouble Yin. “Uh, you okay?”She said as she took her first step upward onto the short stairs to the bus. Instinctually, she jumped back a little. Yin had been one of the nicer people in the class. She really didn’t want to rub her the wrong way. “I-I’m fine… I just got nervous because of the sophomores. They look really cool.. And.” After the injuries she sustained because of the debris test, part of her ego was lost at sea. “I’ll be fine.” “Really? The SOPHOMORES DON’T LOOK ALL THAT TO ME.”She said loudly, hoping Riku and his newfound bae would overhear. They didn’t and she felt even more foolish. She mumbled something unintelligible, as she continued onward towards the back. Alexa was driven into a panic. She started waves her arms like there was nothing to see here. “Yin! Y-You can’t say that?!” Alexa said as she grabbed Yin’s should to pull her closer, then whispered. “What if they retaliate?” Albion who was sitting in a seat close to the door of the bus overheard Alexa's concerned whisper and uttered “I'd like to see em try it.” Albion was one of the first to get on the bus. He was extremely anxious to do this team exercise, so he sat in the front. “Its okay, Alexa, we’ll be fine.”Yin said trying to calm down the situation. She did a quick nod towards albion as he looked at her, as she took a seat towards the end aisle, while Alexa, clearly ruffled, sat elsewhere. Yin sort of zoned out, wondering if it would be smart to port herself to the field so she didn’t have to deal with this awkward bus ride, and listen to Riku laughing at the inside jokes him and his classmate would have. She sighed though, wasting a portal here could be the determining factor of capture the flag. She didn’t want to let down her teammates, whoever they might be, and she definitely now had more reserve to show what she could do. Beginning to visualize victory, she smiled a bit goofy until someone sat besides her.
