[sup]It was a strange feeling... Almost like dreaming, but being awake. The whole scene flashed before my eyes as if I was there. Yet helpless to actually change the events that occurred. I could only observe. These... dreams became more frequent as I traveled and experienced more and more of this world. And I found myself getting lost in them. These events, these peoples lives, I can now observe as a third party. Allow me to record... all that I can recall...[/sup]

Wha-what the hell...? Claire thought to herself, as she rubbed her eyes. Last time she checked, she was in bed... but, when the girl moved her hands, she realized that she was in a... forest? What the hell, she was supposed to have left that godforsaken forest behind, why...? Claire looked at her hands for a moment and realized that she was blue. Her hands were transparent as if she was a phantasm. Okay, I should lay off the drugs... Claire groaned to herself as she looked around. There was fog in the distance that made it impossible to see past a certain radius. Okay, it was obvious that she was dreaming, but why did it all feel so real? Like... she was here. Ugh, probably nothing. Claire heard small footsteps and chatter and walked forward after it. Eventually, she caught sight of some lights and went for that. Claire saw a pair of kids that looked scared out of their minds, holding flashlights as they looked around. One was a young male with dark brown hair, probably around thirteen, wearing boots, blue jeans, and a white t-shirt. The girl at his side had wavy blonde hair and wore a summer dress. It was the middle of the night, what were these kids doing? Don't they know there were all sorts of shit out here in the woods that'd love to make them a snack? Claire rolled her eyes as she moved forward with a hand extended, and said, "Hey, are you kids oka-" Then her hand went through the kid like she was a ghost, and she froze. Oh boy, Claire dryly thought to herself. I'm dead. Holy shit. What was going on...? Maybe this was just a dream. A dream that Claire was going to try to wake up from now... Okay, she was still sleeping. So, Claire tried harder. "I'm gonna wake up now - shit." Normally Claire could force herself to wake up out of these shitty dreams, but this time was different. She rolled her eyes... looks like ol' Claire's gonna be in la-la land for a little bit, eh. She followed the kids, as she heard a conversation between them. "... Arrow's not out here," The girl said. "Let's just go home before we get caught." "No," The boy said, determined as ever. "He's out here, sees these tracks." The boy shined the flashlight on the trail of footprints that looked much like it was produced from a dog. "John," The girl said, "Those could be any tracks, how do you know it's a dog?" "Have you ever read a nature book, Amy?" John said to his female cohort, very irritated by her. "There's no other animal that could leave a trail like this." He shook his head, "Arrow!" "John, will you keep it down?" Amy said, "You don't know what you'll attract." "Then leave," John said as he walked forward, leaving Amy behind. "I... can't leave you, you're my best friend," Amy somberly said. "I don't want you to pop up on the news as missing." Awww, young love, Claire thought to herself, a mixture of bitter and had her spirits genuinely raised. Bitter that she passed the point of experiencing that kind of love. Claire followed behind the kids as they talked. "... I'll help you find your stupid dog," Amy said. "Just let's hurry up and get out of here." They both nodded as they continued to walk down the trail, with a ghostly follower behind them. Though, as they continued down the path... the trail of footprints came to an end and was replaced by a trail of blood. There were blood splatters on the ground as if something was slashed, then the trail as if the same thing was dragged. The two thirteen-year-olds paused, nearly choking as John prepared for the inevitable. He hoped it wasn't so, he prayed it wasn't. When he raised the flashlight, it landed on the corpse of a german shepherd. The two gasped, and John's eyes were full of tears as he looked at the traumatizing sight of his dog, Arrow, devoured by... something. His dog's chest was open, and the blood was still fresh. John didn't know what happened to Arrow, but Amy sure as hell didn't want to find out. "John... let's go..." Amy trailed off as she grabbed John's arm to pull him back down the pathway they came down. Partly out of pity, and the other part was merely out of fear of whatever was lurking around. "... Hey, what are you two doing out here?" A third voice spoke up that made the kids jolt, they turned around to see a tall stern man, in a green park rangers uniform. He had his arms crossed over his thin frame and had an eyebrow raised. "We were just-" Amy tried to plead before the park ranger grabbed onto both of them. "I don't have time for excuses, I'm going to get you two out of here, and right back to your parents." The ranger said as he dragged both of them away. They thought out of the woods, but it felt like they were going deeper. They ended up at a shack. A "wilderness center" as the sign said... but, this place looked like it wasn't used in literally years. That made a knot form in their guts (and Claire's by extent), and the ranger kicked the door down, and lead the kids into the shack as he closed the door behind them. There was an awkward silence as he closed the door. "Um... I thought we were leaving?" Amy said. "And you said you were taking us back to our parents? This..." The girl trailed off, as she looked around, "... This place is abandoned." Then the park ranger laughed as he finished closing the door, and slowly turned around. Softly saying, "... Why is every kid that wanders through here so gullible?" The two kids gasped as they caught sight of the man's face cracked, revealing a layer of skin underneath that looked like a predator's jaw. Except made out of a ethereal white light with black symbols. That was when the rest of the man's form cracked to pieces, revealing the beast underneath. Seemingly a ghost-like being that was at least eight feet tall, made out of a white light, and had long limbs, with long, spiny fingers. It had the head of a deer, and its rib cage was exposed. It looked down at the two children, and without another word... it lunged at John. Slamming the boy to the ground, and immediately feasting on him. Wildly biting his shoulder, and taking huge chunks of flesh out. John loudly screamed, but there was no one to hear him, save for Amy. Who was terrified, she immediately pressed her back against the wall as if she was desperately trying to look for an exit, but there was nowhere else to go. She loudly panted as the beast savagely mauled John, but she was helpless to save him. It was only a matter of time before she was next... Amy loudly screamed, and that was when her abstraction saved both herself and John. When she screamed, it was carried by a massive blue wave that engulfed everything in a blue light, sending it flying away from her. Before it was frozen solid by a sudden wave of cold. It was frozen solid after it hit the ground. Amy didn't have a single clue what happened, but she was the least bit concerned. She knelt down to John, and realized that he was still alive! Thank goodness! Though, not for long, he was bleeding... He looked a little dead-eyed, too. She pulled John to his feet and slung him over her shoulder. She was going to get the high hell out of here, she didn't know where. She opened the door, and with John over her shoulder, she made a break for it. Going fast as she could. Though, she didn't make it far before the man-eating fiend broke free of his ice capsule, and roared. He slammed a claw onto the ground as he forced himself to his feet. He quickly ran through the door, breaking it, and made a mad sprint for the two with his hands ready to kill. Amy fell over with John, screaming loudly as it was the end. His plan hit another snag as a barrier erupted between the two. One that the wendigo crashed into, and groaned as he tried to figure out what just happened. That was when a fireball hit him, and he was sent tumbling over. He did a roll, landing on a knee, as he looked over to the source of the transgression... and his eyes went wide with fear. Three robed figures, each a different color (one was green, one was red, and one was yellow) with symbols all over them. The green-robed figure held a medieval styled long-sword, the red one held a staff, and the last had a book... one that had the pages rapidly turn by a seemingly outside force as an intricate series of symbols floated above it. "Take him out!" The book wielding magician shouted, "I'll keep the kids safe." His companions nodding, the two immediately rushed the monster. He tried to run away, but symbols appeared in the ground, followed by pillars of fire that stopped him in his track. At this point, the sword wielder had closed the distance and slashed at the beast's leg, and he tumbled over. He quickly pushed himself to his feet as he slashed in retaliation, and that was promptly blocked by the sword with zero effort. It was counted by a quick slash to the chest, and the beast stumbled backward. It also couldn't handle the barrage of fireballs being pelted on it from the back. It grabbed the sword wielder and threw her at the fireball magician like she was a baseball. She yelled as her friend caught her, and let her down gently. Instead, the beast ran attempted to flee. However, it was promptly stopped when a powerful explosion of flames went off in front of it and forced it to stop and guard its face. The woman with the sword had recovered and was right behind it. It roared as it whipped around, and slashed part of her robe, and she was bleeding. But, she was undeterred as she slashed the beast's arm off with one powerful swing, followed by a solid swing that removed everything under the knee. It roared as the woman held her longsword to the beast's head. It weakly raised a claw, but the woman just said, "Die aberrant." and stabbed the otherworldly creature in the head. Splitting its skull in half, and causing it to fade from existence. "Floris!" The man in the yellow robe shouted out to her. "Get over here, we need your healing!" The woman ran over to them... and realized what a shitty state the boy was in. She should have healed him first, instead of fighting the aberrant... but, she could fit this. She held her sword with both hands, and close to herself as she focused. A floating rune appeared on the hilt of the sword. The wounds John received on his shoulder were closed as a green light engulfed them. It took a few moments, but he was instantly healed in no time. But, as the green light faded, something became apparent. On John's chest, there was a symbol of a chariot. The strangers in the robes looked at each other before they said to each other... "He's... an awakened."

When the universe was first created, there truly was darkness. It was a different kind of darkness, where there was just nothing. No concept of time, no matter or any kind of material things, there was just nothing. As far as the eye could see... standing in the middle of it was an experience that no other being would experience, nor comprehend. This being simply stood in the darkness, with nothing to keep it company. This being had so many ideas so much power that with a wave of its hand it created a light in the distance. It brought illumination to the being, but the being felt an odd sense of... disappointment, it didn't know why. The being teleported to this light, and it was merely a ball of light in the distance - serving no purpose other than to shine. The being held this light, which was the size of planets, in between two fingers. There had to be more to it than just shining so the ball of light became a ball of fire with a mere thought, and it gave off heat. A heat that wouldn't bother a being like that, but there needed to be more to it. Every light needs something to shine on. So the Being, normally the size of galaxies, shrunk down to the size of a human and stood on the surface of this burning star. It turned around and stared at the nothingness, feeling an odd sense of loneliness in this cold, empty, reality. It waved it's hand around with an open palm, and planets were willed into existence around the star and there was finally a view. Though, the being still felt something wrong here and teleported to one of the planets. It was directly under the view of this sun, and it was one of the most beautiful sights that it ever saw, but there was something missing here. The planet was empty... just a hunk of stone floating in space. The being snapped its fingers and water flooded outwards and the planet was filled with air, sunny clouds, and more. Still, it was missing something - it sensed something strange as it looked up and saw another being that was dwarfing the planet, merely staring downwards at him. When it noticed that he was staring back, the Stranger fled, flying at incomprehensible speeds and the Being flew off after it even faster. After catching up with it, it wasn't long before they were flying side by side as if they had come to an agreement. Or upon recognizing the other. They flew across this empty voice, and as they flew new worlds and starts came into existence, and shortly after: life. They finally ended the lonely universe, and brought creation. Everything that the life within them hold dear. They made each other complete.

After a little while, it was determined the coast was clear and the support group fell to rest. With various members taking turns keeping watch in case something came after them. It seems Grand Ridge was largely abandoned when the town went to hell; so they have the entire academy to themselves. When they drifted to sleep, they experienced yet another recollection... ... Another one? Kimberly thought to herself as she looked at her hands; transparent with a purple hint as she looked around. It was obviously another... recollection?. After the third time, she knew exactly what was happening. This time, she found herself in an open field in the middle of Farmer Hill; she figured it was Mason square. Beyond a certain point, there was nothing but fog and shit. There were two kids, and they were crouched over something. Kimberly walked over to it, and then she saw a bloody dog - and the sight made Kimberly utterly cringe - with brutal claw slashes through its body. It was losing blood fast, but it was shivering, still alive - Kimberly figured that, whatever happened to the dog, it was fairly recent. Taking a look at the kids... it was obviously John and Amy Reid; just a few years older. Going from kids to high schoolers. "Oh my God..." John muttered as his hands hovered over the dying dog's body. "Do it, John, we don't have enough time?" Amy said and John did nothing except shiver some more, "... I SAID DO IT!" That was enough for John to finally swallow it and place his hands on the dog and a white light engulfed its wounds. They glow brightly with the white light; before the wounds started to close up and disappear. The blood was still soaking both kids and the dog, but in less than a few seconds the dog was brought from near death back to perfect health. John sighed as the dog wagged it's tail and hopped to its feet and even licked John's face. "See, John?" Amy said with a smile. "It was easy." "I jus- I didn't want to hurt it." "This is the only way you'll learn to stop doing it," Amy said, looking at John. "... Hey! You nerds practicin' your magic?" A voice from behind them said as they heard a group walking up... and they saw a bunch of kids that were around their own. They had baseball bats as weapons as they looked at Amy and John, grinning. The leader of the group was a tall kid with black shoulder-length hair and had on a leather jacket and jeans with heavy combat boots. Of course, John couldn't help but eye the symbol of a raven on his neck and the symbol of fire on the back his left hand that was hanging freely. "Damien..." John hissed. "What do you want?" Damien pointed the baseball bat at him. "You know what I want, dumbass. Just give it to me and nobody gets hurt." "Well, you can't have it, Damien!" Amy shouted. "Well, did you forget what happened last time?" Damien walked up and snapped his fingers at Amy and suddenly she dropped to her hands and knees in utter pain. She screamed at the top of her lungs as felt like she was on fire... the symbol of fire on Damien's hand glowed brightly as she tried to crawl towards him. A blue wave traveled outwards from her body and froze all that it touched - but once it touched them they weren't frozen solid but chilled to the point where Damien's focus was thrown off. Amy got up, giving Damien a death glare. "... Yeah, I remembered we kicked your ass!" Amy got to her feet and ran straight at Damien and one of his goons swung a bat at her - but she ducked underneath it and quickly gave him a knee straight to his balls. He loudly hissed in pain as he fell over and John quickly ran over to him and tackled him over to the ground. However, he was barely prepared for Damien quickly clocking him square in the jaw. He stumbled over as Amy shouted "John!", and was hit square in the ribs with Damien's baseball bat. "I told you, we want it!" He raised the bat over his head to give Amy the killing blow - but John felt a surge of adrenaline go through him at the sight and he tackled the boy. However, he did more than that - the other aspect of his abstraction activated and the parts of Damien he was touching began to glow. It glowed brightly as his torso began to turn into ash... and soon he fell apart until there was only his top half and legs left. John was frozen in place as he did nothing but silently stare at what he did. He shivered; slack-jawed at what he did... before he fell to the ground and looked at the dead remains of his former bully burned itself into his mind. "... What have I done?" "Oh my God, you killed him!" The last of Damien's group shouted. "I can't believe you, you are sic-" An arrow hit him square in the back and fell to his hands and knees as someone else walked up and he looked over his shoulder to see a woman in a robe with a sword. He almost pissed himself as the woman raised the sword overhead and he shouted, "No!" The woman brought down the sword on him and killed him. Amy immediately embraced John as he turned away out of shock and was crying. Amy looked up at the woman and muttered, "Floris..." Before her mild surprise turned into anger, "... Floris! What the hell are you doing here of all time?!" "We have to talk," Floris said as she sheathed her sword and looked at the two flatly. "The situation in Farmer Hill has changed... and it's gotten far more dangerous." "I can see that," Amy said. "But, what's that have to do with us?" "I'll show you," Floris said as she knelt down and ripped open the boy's shirt - revealing the glowing sigil of a brain, on his chest somewhat splashed by blood. The woman twisted her head towards them as she commanded, "Touch it." "But-" "Touch it." Floris demanded as Amy finally released John and hesitantly reached out for the symbol... the closer she put her hand towards it; the more she felt drawn towards it. Eventually, she touched it and the sigil disappeared, and Floris pointed at her chest on the same area as the boy's sigil and Amy reluctantly opened her shirt... ... The sigil on her chest.
The three stepped through a portal and returning to a dark room, that was an enormous cave with a staircase illuminated by candles and torches. There were groups of people wearing robes and that sort of outfit as Floris walked over to the stairs. "So, what the hell is going on?" Amy asked. "Allow me to start from the top... remember what we talked about so many years ago?" Floris said. "About Abstractions, Lux, and Sigils?" "Yeah," Amy said, as John was fairly quiet given what just happened; she couldn't blame him. "It's all in this town... and it needs a Guardian," Floris said. "What?" Amy asked. "A guardian?" "Every generation there's a guardian of Farmer Hill, to protect the people in it from the Awakened and Apparitions, and to protect the Awakened and Apparitions from the world," Floris started off, as she took a few steps up the stair. "He or she must inherit the powers of the other Awakened; and become the most powerful being in Shimmer, to accomplish this task." "... And how do we do that?" Amy asked. "I just showed you one method," Floris said, "However, the Awakened may willingly pass their powers onto you... but there may only be one guardian." The two looked between each other. "As we speak... other Awakened are discovering their ability, and they're discovering the ability to take powers from each other - as Damien has - and they're using it in an attempt to become the strongest." Floris shook her head. "The Light-Bringer only knows what they'll do with that power." "But why us?" Amy asked. "Why can't you pick anyone else to do it?" "You are all we have, everyone else let the power get to them," Floris said. "Besides... you'd get dragged into it one way or another. You have the mark." For a moment the two looked between each other, before nodding. "Fine. What do you want us to do?" "You must go out and find the other Awakened with me," Floris said as she stepped down the stairs. "Then we will claim their powers, and then we will protect Farmer Hill." "Okay..." Amy said. "Where the hell do we even start?" "Come with me, then," Floris said as she hit the last stair and a portal opened in front of her. "We will do just that; find the other Awakened." They both nodded their heads and went along, and after they left the portal closed and the other people in robes spoke to each other. "The plan is going well," One said, "Soon, all the Lux in this realm will be in possession of a few." "It's unfortunate that we have to kill so many of them," One of the other said, "But the fact of the matter is; less Awakened there are, less likely they'll reveal themselves to the world and ruin the masquerade." They all shook their head. "We're best to ensure that Floris does her duty to the letter."

Back to her home universe of Glint, the recollection brought her back to her childhood home. A room that overlooked the city of Buroko, a place that's located in Africa. "Yes, Pierre! That's it!" Amethyst moaned in satisfaction before the climax came and she fell over on the side of the bed and into the sheets. Her head still full of energy, she looked off to the side and saw her love, Sir Pierre the Worthy, of the Knights of Luminescence. A large, muscular, hairy man with a thick beard and piercing eyes that she loved to look into. "Amethyst, that was great as always, however," Pierre said, as he slid out of the bed "I must take my leave." Amethyst eyes drifted towards the floor as she softly said, "Leaving so soon, Pierre?" "Yes, I must have a meeting with my superiors about becoming a general in the Knights," He started, "Then I can get you out of that realm and somewhere where your talents are better suited." "Like your bed?" Amethyst said with a giggle. "But it's not that bad, love." "But, alas, even if you are following in your father's footsteps," Pierre said, "It's where they stick the unruly Squires; quite literally far away from them as possible. They are scum." "But, I am their leader, a mother to them," Amethyst came out and admitted, "They are far from scum, misguided yes, but not scum." "Lady Amethyst, you will understand in time," Pierre said as he finished buttoning up his shirt as he walked out the door. He put his hand out for her to grab, "Care to accompany me?" "... When I put clothes on."
Amethyst wore a red dress through the courtyards of the Knights of Luminscience fort. She walked along the pathways, holding Pierre's arm as she watched the sights of Knights training Squires. Doing rigorous exercises such as climbing, mock-sword fighting, and jumping jacks. She remembered when she was that age... good times. On the way there she passed Britney Williams talking to a knight and she wanted to talk to her dear friend. They eventually ended up at a big building and after opening it up they proceded through the lobby into a large room with a massive round table. Which had many gentlemen that she knew as Generals and high-ups in not only the Knights of Luminscience but the League as a whole. Amethyst put her hands together as Pierre walked over to the table. One of the men, an aging gentleman with a beard was the first to speak, "Pierre Alakija, step forward." Pierre did with his hands at his side, standing tall and straight. "You wish to undergo the mark of a General? Do you understand what this means?" "Yes, High-Lord General, Adonis," Pierre said. "I don't think you do," Adonis said, "I see you flaunting your titles around and their benefits... but what about the price, young knight?" "I am Sir Pierre the worthy, Vice-General Knight," Pierre stated, "I haven't gotten this far without kno-" Many screams cut through the air, and the window that overlooked the room showed a massive shadow. Suddenly, a beast crashed through the window and immediately everyone dispersed and drew their weapons. It was a massive wyvern made out of green light with black light taking the appearance of thorny vine-light veins. "Apparition!" One of the generals shouted. "How'd it get in?!" Another asked. "I'll eliminate it!" Pierre shouted as he drew his sword from the sheath on his back and went to battle with the beast. However, it had a target and it lunged for one of the generals and launched him into a wall... and Pierre stopped in shock as he muttered something under his breath. Before he charged in to fight the beast. Amethyst herself was pushed out of the room as the knights came in to engage the beast, she didn't even see the beast get slain...
Hours later, Pierre was sitting on the edge of the bed while Amethyst, nude, was smiling. She gently tapped the bed with her fingertips. "Pierre, why don't I help you take your mind off the general..." "No, lady Amethyst, I am not in the mood." Pierre turned her down which ended with a pout from Amethyst as she turned in her bedsheets. Eventually, she felt Pierre enter the bed as she drifted asleep. ... A rustling of the bed stirs her awoke as she tried to hide but she felt Pierre get out of the bed. She listened motionlessly as she heard Pierre put his clothes on and tried to discreetly leave the room. There was something wrong here, and she was going to find out. When he was out the door she had thrown on a dress without another hint of clothing. Not even shoes. He moved through the halls of the estate as Amethyst clumsily followed behind him. They went through the streets of Buruko eventually ending up in the woods outside of it... she remembered there was a park. She didn't know how long because she was too focused on being discreet. He stopped and Amethyst found some bushes to hide in. The pathway was illuminated by torches as Pierre waited on a bench. Eventually, someone approached and Amethyst raised an eyebrow as she saw who it was. Britney. Was Pierre having an affair with her?! Amethyst's blood boiled as her head filled with assumptions, but the truth couldn't have worse. Pierre hopped up to his feet with his fists balled, with Britney having a look of regret on her face. "Britney!" Pierre shouted, "What is the meaning of this?! This was not apart of the deal." "I know..." Britney couldn't dare to look him in the eye as she turned her head away, holding onto her forearm with her other. "You were supposed to scare them, your Apparition was supposed to make me look like the hero, not kill Lord-General Adonis!" Not even letting her get one word in, he slapped her across the face. Her head was turned thirty degrees where it remained. Britney was silent for a moment as she truthfully replied. "I know, but Lord General Adonis proposed attacking Shimmer and securing the mountain," Britney replied as her face stung, but her sigils began to brightly glow. A razor-sharp vine slowly primed itself behind him as he spoke, but Amethyst missed it as she was focused on Britney's speech. "Regardless of our deal... I couldn't let the idea spread to not even another member." "This is what I get for trusting you Society members," Pierre said, "I could have helped both of us." "But in the end..." Britney said as she hesitated for a moment before she sighed. "... You only helped me." The vine quickly cut through the air and stabbed him through the back with such force it ended up on the other side. Amethyst almost shrieked but covered her mouth tears ran down her eyes as she slowly backed out of the bushes. Bloodshot everywhere as Britney walked up. "You should have had your weapon drawn already, Pierre. You should have been smarter." "Britney..." Pierre said, "W-why...?" "As useful as you would be as a General in my pocket," Britney said, "I can't risk the information getting out, at least not this early on in my plans. Just know I take no pleasure in your pain... I don't even want to do this to you... to Amethyst." "But, I need to protect my home, regardless of the price." Amethyst's blood boiled, but she was unsure of what to do... could she kill someone she thought as her sister as she reached for her trusty dagger. No... she turned herself invisible as she walked away. Watching Britney bury Pierre in the soil with her plant powers.
The night was rough, Amethyst didn't get a lick of sleep. Her best friend just murdered her lover as she revealed both of them were involved in the Society... the antithesis of the League of Luminescence. The sun hit her as she decided on how she was going to respond. She hopped out of the bed, still wearing the dress from earlier. She stormed through the manor halls until she made it to her destination... Ayron Sinclair's room. Her father. Amethyst stormed through the doors as she found Ayron awake, watching the sunrise, he was an older man by the time this occurred. He turned his head towards Amethyst as he asked, "Amethyst, this is your vacation," Ayron said with a smirk, "You need to rest, the Knights haven't ruined your sleep cycle like they have ruined mine." "Father, I have something to discuss with you... something important." "It must be," Ayron said, "You stormed in here this early." "You heard of Lord-General Adonis' death?" Amethyst asked, "Yes... filthy Apparition," "Pierre was responsible for it," Ayron's heart skipped a beat as he nearly broke his neck turning his head towards Britney. "Amethyst, you mustn't-" "He was conspiring with Britney, who's a member of the White Spider Society!" Amethyst said. "Who killed Pierre this night, I watched! I want to bring her to justice!" Aaron sighed. He was completely silent for a few moments as Ayron began to explain, "I am aware she is a member of the White Spider Society." "Whaaaaaaaat?!" Amethyst said, "Why would you allow this to go on? Does Micheal know?!" "Who do you think got her in contact with them?" Amethyst balled her fists as she marched over and slapped her father with all of her force. "You bastard! Why would you let this go on?" "Because... she's needed," Ayron said, "She was an instrumental part of me and Micheal's plan to rebel from the League... which we devised years ago but it hasn't come to fruition nor do I think it will at this point." he shook his head. "Wha-what?" "But, that's not important at the moment," Ayron said, "You must not take action against Williams." "Wh-why?! You don't want me ruining whatever scheme you and Micheal have?!" Amethyst screamed at the top of her lungs. "Because of that relationship between us and the Alhudaybi family." Amethyst went silent as Ayron continued. "We are their closest alley, Amethyst. You can try to get her executed, but if they find out their daughter was in League with our worst enemy; they will surely come after us with or without a reason. And even if they don't, that'd negatively impact you anyhow because think of how badly it'd look if your best friend was a traitor." Amethyst realized he was right. "Then I'll-" "... Kill her yourself? Without proof, you'd be tried and hanged at the behest of the Alhudaybi family. And Micheal is a very cunning man; he'd raise a daughter that leaves no traces." Ayron explained, "If they find out Pierre was responsible for the death of the High-Lord General they'd surely kill you to send a message to other traitors that their loved ones are on the line for this treachery as well." Every word that Ayron was saying was right and Amethyst didn't have an answer. "Listen to these words: forget about Pierre and leave Britney alone. You need her for the Watchers, I have a feeling things are going to change very quickly." Ayron left her with the words as he looked out the window. Leaving Amethyst to walk away silently as she realized she had no other option at the moment. But she'd get her revenge. One way or another.

Oh... Lynette looked at her hands and realized that she was transparent... she knew that it was a recollection that she was experiencing. She was so familiar with these, but she still had so many questions about everything. She looked around and saw woods after woods - almost as if it was the very first recollection. It was the dead of night and the area was illuminated by the oddly vibrant moonlight. Turning her head she saw a group of about four people in cloaks that walked through the woods illuminated by lanterns. She recognized the cloaks and it was obvious that they were the Watchers - given the patterns and colors on their cloaks - but there were two wearing plain white cloaks, leading the group. When they walked by they spoke, "Are you ready for this?" The woman that Lynette recognized as Floris spoke. "Yeah," She heard John Reid under the cloak. They stepped into the darkness, and eventually, they ended up at a massive tunnel at the base of the mountain. It was up a hill in which they stood in the base of... John sighed as he was about to walk in, but he felt Floris' hand stop him as it wrapped around his forearm. "Remember John," Floris said, "The Luminscience is strong in there... so strong your mind might not be ready to handle it. You will experience memories in such a way that'll blur the line between your own, your friends, and the dead." "I understand," John said, "I have to bring this bloodbath to an end one way or another." Floris smiled at him from underneath her cloak, as she let go and the two proceeded into the caverns. They disappeared into the darkness, but John raised a hand and a flame appeared in the palm that illuminated the caverns. They marched and marched, and marched through the tunnel, one would think they would get lost. Eventually, they ended up at a huge nexus that had a tunnel for each direction... but they heard sounds of beasts coming towards them. Suddenly the lanterns and torches that were dormant were alit with flames. And in shining white light the Wendigoes appeared from all angles. They climbed on the walls and took perch on the edges of the tunnels with their massive claws, and laughed. "Shouldn't have come here, Reid!" One Wendigo shouted. "Once you're out of the picture, we're going to eat Farmer Hill alive!" "That's what I come here to stop..." John Reid said as he walked up, flipping up his hood. "... Among, other things." They lunged as John Reid snapped his finger and massive spikes of earth appeared out the ground and impaled a majority of the Wendigoes and they faded away. "Stop him!" The ring leader lunged at him only for a portal to appear in front of him and send him flying into another Wendigo. He opened his palm and a massive jet of flames immolated one of them as he moved forward, and one-touch with his left hand reduced it to ash. Another came running up behind him and the ground he was standing on flipped over and crushed him. Meanwhile, Amy's abstraction was charging before it activated and unleashed a wave that froze all of them that got close. Which meant all John had to do was snap his fingers and stone spires appeared out of the ground and killed them all. "Well, that's one problem we-" John said as he grabbed his head in pain, he screamed at the top of his lungs as he experienced a recollection.
"Faster, Jen, faster!" The girl said as she was running through the woods, she looked back and saw her friend tripping. Before she knew it, one of those things were on top of her. "JEN!" She screamed at the top of her lungs before she felt an impact than a sharp pain in her stomach. She looked down and saw the Wendigoes claws piercing through her and she was being lifted into the air. She spits up blood as she watched her best friend get devoured by monsters and it wasn't long until it went dark. [sup]"John."[/sup] "John."
"John!"

"John!"

"John!"

He felt himself tumbling over as a gunshot rang through the air. Looking around he saw a minecart to his left and Amy on top of him. "John Reid!" A voice shouted. "It's over!" He saw a white light that only he could see as it blurred - If you do this, we'll all be safe. - his vision. He climbed up as another bullet cut through the air and put a hole through the minecart and made wood fragments flying everywhere. He got one good look at the person - The Watchers, this is their game! They tricked us all! - and saw a boy his age with blonde hair and was very pale and scrawny with green eyes and had on tattered clothes. Mark. John... he heard so - This town has never seen such a string of murders before - many voices that he couldn't think. He grasped his hands with both hands as he tried to carry himself forward towards him, and Mark lowered his gun. "Amy," Mark said, "You know what you have to do. He can't take all of the memories. If you kill him now, we both can get his abstractions and end this fucked up game the Watchers have been playing." "No," Amy said without a second thought, "I can't stand the thought of going against John because... I love him." That was when the pulse of blue light appeared and froze his gun and forced him to retreat. She knelt to John as she said, "He's getting away, we have to stop him!" John recovered as he got up and the two ran down the tunnel he was going and they followed the sound of his footsteps. They kept running down the tunnels until they saw a literal light at the end of the tunnel... an orange light. They ended up in a weird room... it was massive, probably as big as the fields in Farmer Hill, but in the middle of the room was a barrier that cut the room in half. It was white and transparent, but it did little to keep the orange light given off by this... sun? It was a massive sun-light entity with a black mass underneath the light. A strange being for sure and Mark was touching the barrier. "John! You gotta listen to me!" Mark said, "This... this is the Glutton! This is the source of the problem and... those God damn Watchers. Thousands of years ago, they put it here and now they're trying to protect it!" While they were talking, the brightest circle of the orange light moved downwards. John approached Mark as he desperately pleaded with him. "It's not of this world, it's like the shit Lovecraft talked about but worse. You gotta stop this guardian nonsense because the only thing you are guarding is this!" "I'm sorry, Mark," John said as a stone spire erupted from the ground and impaled Mark through the stomach. "We can't have anyone break the masquerade, and Farmer Hill only needs one protector. I'm sorry." "You're- making... a mistake..." Mark since as his life faded and his sigil brightly appeared through his clothes. John walked over to his body to get the abstraction... However, the Glutton had another idea. The bright orb had charged up and pierced through the barrier for a moment was an intense beam of orange light that engulfed Amy. She loudly screamed as John immediately turned around and yelled, "Amy!" The beam faded as Amy fell to the ground spread eagle, John ran over to her as he shook her by the shoulders. "Amy! Amy! Can you hear me?!" He looked her into the eyes. They were glowing a bright orange.
