Name: Lady Liberty Appearance: Everybody’s seen the Statue of Liberty before. Basically a massive lady in a metallic robe holding a torch and a plaque. Her appearance has been changed a little since her ‘renovations’ over the past few years. Her joints are now fully functioning which gives her normally uncanny human resemblance a more uncanny nature as bits of her anatomy don’t quite match up like they once did. The torch has taken on a much more mechanical appearance to fit it’s new purpose and the plaque has been reinforced and refurbished but is mostly the same as it once was. Lastly, the metal robe is modified to be less rigid but still providing protection for the automaton itself and also houses pouches for holding the torch or plaque if fine motor skills are required. Size: 93 meters It Came From: The French gifted it to America initially. The robotics were a later addition. Abilities: Lady Liberty is strong (even for her massive size) and pretty fast/agile thanks to her reinforced pneumatics and servos. Additionally she’s got her torch with a massive jet on it for a multitude of uses such as a stabbing tool with extra oomph, and extra bit of boost to a jump or a method of burning anything that come in LL’s way. The plaque is also tougher than most of the machine so it’s perfect for pummelling and blocking. Lady Liberty’s biggest advantage is Liberty Island where she goes back to in order to get fixed up or upgraded. Weaknesses: LL has little in the way of defence and can’t take many hits before something going wrong. Unlike her fleshy counterparts, Lady Liberty can’t heal naturally from wounds and needs to be fixed by an outside force. History: The beloved Statue of Liberty stood as a welcoming symbol to immigrants coming from the old world. However, six years ago, it began its conversion into the US’s greatest defence against terrorism. Some think that the organization TERRA may have had some hand in it’s initial conception but many founders of the project deny this. After six years of augmenting New York’s guardian under the guise of ‘renovating’ the the relic, Lady Liberty was pushed into action as the appearance of giant beasts began to spring up across the world. To the awe and surprise of the citizens of America, the stagnent statue of Liberty Island stepped off her pedestal and into the water on her first test drive. Her first steps towards giving humanity the liberty of life in the face of the Kaiju.

Name: Donald ‘Eggman’ Rogers Appearance: Donald looks like the stereotypical nerd that dies first in a horror movie. Overweight, caucasian, glasses and dark messy hair. He’s believes in function over form and it shows in his attire as he usually just goes for whatever he can throw on but one piece he’s rarely seen without his lab coat which is evidently not the standard uniform for Liberty Island. Age: 25 Occupation: Donald works on project Liberty on Liberty island. He’s one of the lead engineers and a major benefactor to the programming division of the project. Starting Location: Liberty Island, helping with the activation of Lady Liberty. History: Donald knew he was destined for greatness. He liked to think he was a humble guy but his natural knack for almost all aspects of machines made him believe that the world was his oyster. He graduated school on time and with flying colours making his parents very proud. After getting out of college Donald was contacted by representatives from Project Liberty to come aboard and help with the retrofitting of machinery onto the ancient symbol of freedom. Coming from a very patriotic family, Donald jumped at the chance to help his country (and by extension, the world) with his mental prowess. With Donald onboard, Project Liberty began to really pick up steam and was finished sooner than originally anticipated and just in time for the return of Earth’s monsters. Watching the TV with awe and terror, Donald saw some of the first beasts of the new age reveal themselves to the planet. While he was scared to his core, Eggman was filled with a sense of competition, as he wanted to prove his project was strong enough to hold up against the monsters that now plagued the planet. He’s now fully thrown himself into Project Liberty, going as far to move onto the island and working on development nigh 24/7.
