[b]Personality:[/b] In a world where it seems as though “power itself” is the end goal of every curriculum or activity undertaken by students of Academy City, she looks down on such views and considers the very idea ridiculous.

To begin with, power is meaningless without direction — without a “logic” that commands, it might as well not exists. Among other reasons (also relating to the fact that she was raised better than that, come on!), this is why she does not see lower-level ESPers as inferior, though she holds an expected amount of pride in her abilities and the effort she put into improving.

Regarding her general attitude, she can be described as a “tomboy” type. While she tries to put up a dignified act, she can easily lose herself in the heat of the moment, being the kind of girl that likes to live “hard”. Fight hard, laugh hard, party hard — and work hard. If you aren’t giving everything your 100%, you might as well not do it.

A loudmouth that nonetheless has a certain charisma to her. A woman whose emotions burn hot and lasting.

If you make a comment about her “lacking front”, you should be prepared to face execution.

[b]Biography:[/b] Born to parents that could not be expected to comprehend her daughter’s twisted tastes, she was nonetheless provided for and went through a childhood as normal as it could be expected in Academy City, sent to the dorms of Tokiwadai at the start of middle school and currently living in her own apartment.

From a very early age, she was possessed by a certain passion — that is to say, she was one that tasted ambrosia in her early years and sought to make it her life’s goal to “replicate that feeling and surpass it”, which was her main motivation to join Academy City’s programs, and also the project that takes up most of her funds. She has called it “independent research”, though it garners odd looks from colleagues. . .albeit it seems that the administration will consider it valid so long as it helps her ability develop, so it can be said that it is a perfectly fine venue, if twisted in the eyes of the normal public.

In simple terms, she has dedicated her life to create “the ultimate form of ice-cream pizza”.

Because of the nature of ice-cream, she has staked her livelihood in the belief that “she can find the key to “the greatest ice-cream”, and combined such with pizza so as to create “the most delectable food” through hot-cold contrast. Her studies and achievements are all for the sake of this one thing, and she sees her ability as a means to heighten efficiency.[/hider]

[b]Faction:[/b] 0 Degrees Lounge — Pizza Parlor. Adds up to a moderate number of members for its size — that is to say, it is effectively a normal pizza parlor with all that implies. Generally uninvolved in street violence barring cases that hit too close to home, since it would otherwise prove “bad for the business”. Its “turf”, thus, can be said to extend 2 blocks from its headquarters, though they’re lax about things so long as no problems are caused.

It does not boast any particularly notable ESPers in the city scene beyond Yukiru herself, seeing as it generally operates as a normal business. Criteria for selection naturally includes abilities that would be useful in a parlor, but due to the manager’s eccentricities, it seems that an unspoken rule in order to enter is “your name must relate to cold in some way”. . .isn’t this still kind of discrimination?

Technical name “Isolated Cold Field Formation”.

The ability works by delineating a section of space through an AIM field and allowing Yukiru to control the temperature scalar within such space, though as it should be guessed by its name, it is more suited to low temperatures, being able to go as low as the double-digits in the Kelvin scale. Naturally, this means the name she has given it is actually a complete misnomer at this point in time, but she chose it on the basis that “it sounded cool”.

General application is obviously the capacity to freeze whatever is inside, with the lowered temperature consequently causing slowed particle movement and all it implies — even gas can be deposited at this stage.

Furthermore, owing to the characteristics of the AIM field, she can also choose whether the hot-cold interaction with the outside occurs or whether the system is truly isolated, and she always keeps a field around her with the equivalent temperature of “a comfortable summer evening”. Handy in winter.

Incidentally, that she can choose to allow interaction (heat transfer) yet maintain the temperature of the system constant with her own power was a key factor in the self-proclaimed nickname “Maxwell’s Demon”.[/hider]
