[@Dynamics] So the Philote System is kind of like a variation of Quantum Strings then, but one that's just different enough to make both incompatible with each other then?
It's more built off of raw String Theory than Quantum Strings, and has some commonalities with the philotes in Card's Ender's Game (given that they share a name), but in general, all of these and more in many forms of media are built on Einstein's String Theory. And to answer the second question, raw philotic manipulation isn't a physical possibility because powers are built on top of philotes. Another key difference is that even if you could, (to quote the article), "rearrang[ing] living beings in ways they deem fit and alter them according to the strings that make up their existence" wouldn't match up with what philotes are because they're less like a 3D mesh that can be reformed and more like a series of highly complex knots. If you were somehow able to untie or cut a series of these knots, you wouldn't be able to retie them somewhere else because the others are already tied off and well-formed (if that's confusing, please let me know). Reality warping is absolutely a power that's possible, just not through a form of "Quantum Strings" (those would only exist in a Marvel universe or other universe that relies on them). I think the effects that you'd want are very doable; it's just that the physical explanation for them in the article would need to be reworked. I'm also more than willing to go into any detail on the physics system that you want since it is pretty complex. I think that once it clicks, it'll be easy though.
