I feel I have an unusual reaction to incorrect information, such as during a presentation when I am often reviewing or rating another party. When I hear the speaker informing the audience make a factual error, I experience a sort of repulsion to the circumstance that is immediate and compelling, somewhere between a physical and psychic "pain". It is unpleasant, hardly harmful, but enormously distracting at the same time. The sensation can ruin the entirety of the ordeal and noticeably skews my audit of them. To date, I have met no one who has had this kind of experience and it does not arise in matters of debate; it seems intrinsically linked to objective facts and the speaker presenting wrong information, being more noticeable if the speaker is unaware of their error.
