The poverty levels in the country are low, and while there are still income and social statuses within the population, the wealth income gaps between the different groups are narrow. Despite the cultural and traditional outer appearances of their palace, the interior paints a totally different picture. Haneul is a technology advanced country and the results of its technological advances can be seen everywhere throughout the country. Large media billboards can be found on buildings and skyscrapers and just about everyone owns a mobile phone or a computer or some form of mobile touch devices. The palace is equally equipped with high technology and security despite its ancient looking appearance. The nation is well-regarded within the globe, as it frequently partners and shares its expertise with its allies and its business partners. The line of succession in the monarchy is decided by the order of birth when it comes to the king and queen's children, and the oldest will always have priority over then youngest.

With their large advances in technology, it is no surprise to anyone that Haneul is known as a hotspot for entertainment, be it music or movies. It is most popular for it's pop scene which has produced numerous amounts of award-winning singers and bestselling groups. Movies coming out of the nation is nothing to scoff at either, with cutting-edge technology coupled with talented directors and producers making hits after hits. Although immigrants were rare in Haneul in the past, the country is slowly opening up, and slowly but gradually more immigrants are calling themselves home in the Kingdom. Its military is strong and self-sufficient, and definitely one to be reckoned with, but it is not a militaristic state, and they do not seek to involve themselves in the military affairs of nations other than its allies.

――――――――――[/color] [INDENT]The Kingdom of Haneul is an old and ancient kingdom. It is not as old as Liang, but still old enough in its own right. In entire nation's history, the monarchy has only been ruled by one family, the Hans. Every single king has been a Han, from the very first king in its founding days to the present day and the current king. They used to be a very backward and weak kingdom that was always lagging behind more powerful nations of its time such as Liang. The technological revolution that happened in the last century or so changed everything. No longer was the Kingdom a backward nation that no one cared about, or one that was always stood in the back. Now it was at the forefront of the world and stood toe-to-toe with the strongest in the world. Now, other nations include Haneul in their plans, hopefully for a share of the pie as well, and well, the Kingdom of Haneul is only too happy to accept. That was how things worked.
