---Bridge of Excalibur--- Doctor Cassidy had already arrived on the bridge in order to facilitate the transfer of equipment aboard. Turning, she saw the Captain give orders. "Hello captain." She approached him. "I'm Doctor Elizabeth Cassidy." she took out her ID badge. It was labled with the Federations Code Black. That meant she was answerable only to the toppest of brass, including the president. "I apologize for seizing command of your ship earlier, i wasn't aware that you were going to see sense and call in the retreat." She said with her usual backhanded cander. "I, however, do believe that bringing civilians with us will be a mistake." She said. "Partially because a warship cannot afford to have civilians not pulling their own weight, but mainly because we simply do not have the time to evacuate. Crimson has said 12 hours, but i doubt he'll keep to it." "Sir, our sensors are getting new contacts closing on the colony." came from the radar station. Cassidy walked over. "Damn. I thought we might get more time. He planned on a quick win and he has it." She grunted. "If the other colonies at Side 7 resist, they won't be doing so for long. We'll need to get out of here long before the 12 hours are up." She then heard him call for Greg. "I want the kid to be the one exception. He piloted Zeta with a good degree of skill, i asked for Zeta to be armed and him to be made pilot." She stared the Captain in the eyes. ---Changing Rooms--- Everyone had been in a Normal Suit at some point. Nobody ever quite forgets their first time floating in the void of space and watching the universe float around them. Staring at Earth, the planet full of people that... Well, are quite complicated beings. Many wonderful people, many terrible people. But now Greg was getting into his very first Flight-Suit. Much less well padded than Normal suits, much more vulnerable, but completely free's all movement for the wearer. He looked down at the suit. It was white with a black tinted visor, to help in case of staring towards the sun. As he stood in his suit, admiring himself in the mirror, he saw a woman approach him from the hallway. "Ummm... Hello?" He asked. "Captain wants to see you." The woman ordered. "Follow me." Greg gulped a little. He had seen plenty of movies, he knew how much animosity there was between black-ops and the military and he suspected that Doctor Cassidy had her hands full with the captain as is. He walked through the corridors of the ship until he was lead to the bridge. "Umm... Gregory St James reporting for duty." He said, saluting.
