Penelope nodded her head as she laid besides Crow. It wasn't long before the thief suddenly wrapped her up in an embrace. She smiled closed her eyes for a moment as she pressed closer to him. Being in his arms, the knight found herself rather comfortable and nearly tempted to try and get in a short nap before the group had to continue traveling. However, she didn't get a chance to as the sound of someone approaching them caught her attention. Opening her eyes, she turned to see Gavin standing nearby and she let out a small sigh as the male knight insisted they keep moving. She felt a small stab of annoyance, noticing the displeasure in his expression as he looked at them. It was easy for her to guess that one of the main reasons he wanted to get them moving was to separate her and Crow again. As Crow's attempt to buy them more time failed, she shrugged her shoulders and turned her head slightly to press a kiss to Crow's cheek. "I guess we should get moving then." She mumbled and reluctantly pulled away from Crow to get up. Glancing at Gavin, she noticed that the male knight was trying to suppress a satisfied expression from taking over his face. Penelope pursed her lips together, not liking that he thought he had succeeded in getting between them. Though she didn't want anymore fighting, she also didn't want the male knight thinking he was able to separate them so easily. She'd have to make sure he understood that. Standing up, she offered her hand to Crow and flashed him a reassuring smile. "It's not too big of a deal.. We have all of tonight and the ones that follow on this trip to lay next to each other." She told him, speaking just loud enough to make sure Gavin caught it too. Not bothering to check for a reaction, she picked up her bag and slung it over her shoulder as they prepared to leave.
