The most dangerous it gets is during the annual World Martial Arts Tournament where those who want to showcase their power go up against each other. Some of the strongest fighters the planet has to offer take part and fight each other until only one remains. The winner is celebrated wildly while the losers are soon forgotten about, until the following year at least. The tournaments coverage is truly worldwide and the final is watched by over seventy percent of the worlds total population. No other event or TV spectacle comes close. Tickets for the event are free but are drawn through a lottery that must be registered for. Those who want to take part in the tournament must win their regional tournaments before they can progress.

When the tournament begins, sixty four people have the opportunity to be crowned World Champion. Round by round the numbers are reduced until only one person is left standing. This years tournament is already down to the last four with the semi finals close to starting and this is where your characters begin. They may be participating or they may just be watching from the stands but either way, they are there. However they are not the only ones with eyes on the tournament, a dark power lies in wait...waiting for the right time to appear... [/i][/sub][/sub][/h3][/center][/color]
