Primal Savagery Abilities: Inventory: Obsidian Shard A set of traveler's clothes Wooden flute Set of dice Pouch containing 15gp Background: Living on the frontier was bad enough without having been born a Merfolk. Anseris vaguely remembers her parents, the pair who were travellers ready to take on whatever the world brought on them, but in the end they dissapeared and left Anseris alone to live in her landlocked lake. Sure she could go anywhere she wanted as she was not exactly stuck there, but it was what she knew best and honestly? She was terrified to go anywhere beyond the land she knew. In her time she often got to know the nearby town, and as a result gained a love of interaction with people. But as many people who enjoyed her company, she learned that just as many would rather try to manipulate her, so why wait to be manipulated, when she could be the one manipulating? Many of her interactions came out this way, from travelers coming across her lake to the dryads and other fey that she learned Sylvan from, anybody who found themselves meaning harm often ended up going in the opposite direction of Anseris eventually. Everything was fine as it was, with Anseris living alone, content to spend her entire life in her lake until she received a package. A vaguely dagger shaped obsidian shard whose sharp edges had long since been rubbed away, possibly due to the fact it constantly radiated a gentle warmth. This single mysterious item awakened a sense of mystery in Anseris, and she set off for Fronteir Town, leaving behind her lake so that she may find who it was that sent her such a strange item.
