Name:Linkle Game Origin: Hyrule Warriors Appearance: Personality: The sort of one in a million fool that accomplishes great things simple because they never doubt whether it's possible for them to do so. Linkle takes her position as a hero very seriously, eagerly rushing into the fray to defend the innocent and defeat evil wherever the need arises albeit sometimes too quickly and in the wrong direction. Not much of a thinker, she doesn't believe there are too many problems a swift kick to the noggin can't solve. Background: Linkle was a simple Cucco farmer in a small Hyrule village. When she was young her grandmother, just like every other kindly grandparent in Hyrule, would tell her that she could be the incarnation of The Legendary Hero. Unlike most other children, however, she kept believing that until one day disaster really did strike the Kingdom. Hearing of the horde of monsters attacking the land she knew that today was the day destiny had called her to save the kingdom and so she set out from her village with only a green cloak, a pair of crossbows, and her Grandmother's heirloom compass on a journey to Hyrule Castle. She immediately got lost. After an encounter with the mysterious Skull Kid, who had stolen her precious compass, Linkle took a circuitous rout around the distorted Hyrule seemingly always a step behind the actual hero. One her way across the land she managed to save the Goron Chief Darunia from an impossible battle, defeated Ghirahim and the horde of The Imprisoned that he'd summoned, and even managed to rescue Princess Zelda from the land of Twilight. However, she only arrived at Hyrule Castle after the final battle with Ganondorf was already over. There was, however, a horde of monsters attacking the weakened defenders and no one to protect the castle but Impa. Linkle rushed in, and with a lot of guts and a burst of magic power from her compass, the two were able to turn the tide and defeat the monsters. Hyrule was now truly safe. Or at least it was, before radiant light spoiled the victory celebration. Specialty: Mook Clearing - While she can fight skilled opponents Linkle excels at rushing into the middle of a horde of weak foes and deleting them in a hail of crossbow bolts. Level: 1 Experience: 0/10 Powers:

Weak Point Smash - If Linkle can catch a foe stunned, vulnerable, or "open" after a big attack and manages to daze them with her attacks she can deliver a devastating hit to the enemy. The stronger the enemy is the more hits it takes to daze them.
Strengths:

Strong Legs - Linkle has been training all her life for the day she would be called upon by destiny and as a result is incredible athletic. She can run fast, far, and for a long time, and is agile enough to flip through the air as part of her attacks. Not to mention the fact she kicks so hard sometimes her boots catch fire.
Close-Range Crossbow Combat - While others might questions the wisdom of using duel-crossbows at such close range it seems to work for her. She's not particularly skilled at aiming so much as choking the air around her with bolts.
Cucoo Empathy - There are many that have raised Cucoo's, but perhaps only one that can say she charged into battle at the head of an army of them. Linkle can train, lead, and inspire loyalty in these birds. She doesn't know if she could also handle similar birds. She's never tried.
Weaknesses:

No sense of direction - Linkle had access to not only a map and compass, but constant signage pointing her in the direction of Hyrule Castle and still managed to take the longest possible rout there. Leave her on her own long enough and she might find her way to the moon and back.
Don't go expecting her to be solving puzzles anytime soon.
Spirits: (See Spirits section for details. Start with none)

Kindred Spirits:

Cukoos - Her buddies, troops, and elements of some of her attacks. Where could those little guys have gotten to?
Link - Any Link. How incredible would it be if two incarnations of the Hero teamed up together? Nothing would be able to stand up to that!
Ganondorf - Come to think of it, despite being the Legendary Hero, the Great King of Evil from all the legends never showed up to fight her. That King Dodongo wasn't him, was it? Or maybe it was the creepy Demon guy...
Inventory:

Simple Crossbows - A pair of red crossbows. Never seem to need reloading or run out of ammo. Capable of rapid fire and firing bomb arrows, but she doesn't have any bombs. Has a fire affinity.
Compass - An ancient compass given to Linkle by her grandmother. An important keepsake, it possesses a mysterious power. Does not aide in navigation.
Green Hood - The color of a hero.

This one might be hard for Din to wrap her head around. [@Stekkmen] [@Lmpkio] Also, Din might actually be a goddess reborn?
