HAEF Age: 24 Seen above calm Absolutely Livid: This form is an automatic trigger that occurs when his anger causes an 'eruption' within his body, when the forge overworks and ruptures his veins, causing literal burning hemoraging as his magma blood overflows from his body. His Terraarmament pulls hard earth and metal from the area around him and plates it over his body, this helps hold his body together until he calms again and is able to control his burning blood. However afterwards he is left extremely fatigued with little fighting ability till he recovers. But during the rage the over working forge heart increases his strength and durability for the duration, though the rage clouds his ability to make rational judgement. Personality: The first impressions people might make of Haef is that he is a cool and calm minded individual. One who takes charge and tries to step up as a leader figure. They might see someone brimming with self confidence, someone who self inspired. One without teetering self esteem, however most of this is a facade internally Haef struggles with his inner demons. Often the type who doesn’t like to show off his emotions a lot of his self confidence is a show. It is a defensive wall that protects him from his fears. That being the true lack of motivation held inside. While Heaf is a go getter, someone who likes to take action and create solutions. He is often attacked by a lack of motivation. Apathy shackles him down. Thus he is quite fine with following others rather than taking the lead himself, while it makes him an excellent team player it truly stems from an inherent distrust and lack of confidence in himself. For Haef is plagued with the constant fear that his ‘Apathy Syndrome’ will rear its head at any moment and cause him to fall to an endless nothingness. He would rather be used like any tool rather than relied upon as comrade. So he largely keeps to himself, trying to stay busy with menial tasks and hobbies, such as sculpting figures of earth and iron. He most never speaks out nor even speaks his mind if not asked first. However, often times he feels he must speak out, or when forced Haef can become quite heated, and has a literal ‘burning anger’ as the magmatic nature of his blood lights across his skin and he falls into a gross and intense rage that threatens to run wild. And there he sat, unable to create something from nothing, lost in his purpose. One day as he sat, he looked out and felt that while beautiful, the universe his cohorts had created was unchanging, it had cycles in its life, but they repeated, nothing new came forth. And deep within his core something moved, he lifted from the other gods creations the fiercest fire and the most malleable metal, and created a great hammer. He then used the hammer to pound flat a great expanse of earth and placed upon it metals pulled from the heart of a star, and he brought the hammer down, from this metal he created gifts for his siblings and declared to them. ‘I have found my addition to this universe you have made, a spark from my mind, to create, to make something more out of what is before us, to change the world not through strength but through ingenuity. I would gift this to a species, but the decision I wish to be one of aggregate.’ The chosen species would be humanity, and Thoth poured forth the knowledge of his first discovery, the use of tools, and then left the seed of ingenuity, to allow them to expand their world. As human civilization continued he marveled at the countless creations they forged, the great buildings, the many tools. He was proud that it was his addition to the world that let them flourish so, but he kept this pride silent, and continued his work, always working away. When the Daemis broke free he did his best to try and forge weapons against them, great golems and other constructs, arms and armors but it was all for naught, even his greatest Golem: Indominus, was never finished, its heart never ignited and it lies silent hidden somewhere upon the planet Earth. A tiny babe clutched between two withered bodies no more than corpses, he pulled the child from there and carried it away, impressed by the babes tenacity to hold on even plagued by the Apathy Syndrome. So he named the child Haef and took him into his care. Daemis: Neccese came not in fire and fury, not storm and rage, he arose among the first when the seals broke, looming silently his power swathed forwards, like a deluge of pointless thought. The Apathy Syndrome took hold of countless people, sapping away any drive to fight, to improve, to sustain and finally to even live. Little is known of him, he speaks little and acts to his own silent agenda. His bottomless eyes pull in all attempts to stand against him, an Emperor not of violence or force but of quite and inevitable guarantee. A Daemis that promises only deterioration, it all falls apart eventually, so be cradled in the quiet and comforting embrace, and sleep forever more. Do not struggle, do not fear… just accept the end. Weapons: God ability: Hammer of Thoth: Heaf’s left hand and arm are incased in a black metal, this was once a shard of Thoth’s first and favorite hammer, it is inlaid with groves so that the magma of his veins may flow through brightly, and each finger is tipped in a sharp talon like claw. It cannot be removed. It also channels his God gifted ability ‘Terraarmament’ (0) Range: 15 yards radius around him: By utilizing his magmatic blood as the heat source and his own knowledge of smithing he can shape the earth and metals around him into crude weapons that are linked and manipulated by the gauntlet. However due to his Apathy Syndrome his creations cannot last long and are incredibly fleeting, falling apart after only the slightest use. God Ability: Forge Heart: Haef was born within one of the civilizations that Neccese loomed over, each person lost to the Apathy Syndrome. Thoth scooped up the silent and withering away babe from the arms of the corpse like creatures that were his parents. To save the child he replaced the small and fleeting organ known as a ‘heart’ with a special construct, that would function both as his heart and as an engine to strengthen his body. The next step was to heat the forge. Thoth pulled magma from his favorite star and poured into into the boys dry veins, lighting the forge. Living his life with the Forge Heart has strengthened his body beyond that of his fellow Orphans, he is incredibly durable, his very skin darkened and warm to the touch like a tempered piece of metal. It also fuels his endurance, keeping him going however it also prevents natural sleep, meaning he is always awake if not forced into unconsciousness. The forge also helps him use his magmatic blood in conjunction with his ‘hammer’ to fuel the Terraarmament. Daemis Ability (0) Range- Melee to 15 yards: Entropy Strikes: As the sun sets and the powers of the forges abilities weaken, saving their strength to stave off the Apathy Syndrome, the Daemin energies course outwards, becoming farm more active. He is able to use the 'Hammer of Thoth' to channel these energies into its strikes. The energy increases the entropy of molecules causing them to move at an increased rate, causes structural deterioration, meaning his attacks become far more devastating with each one that connects, even if there is no apparent damage done yet. He can also fling off the energy in strikes from his claws, how they do not travel far, only about 15 yards before dispersing. Relationships: Thoth: Thoth is... the closest thing I have to a father. He is the first being I ever knew, and while he was quite literally burning, he was always cold. I imagine he was never all that sociable, more concerned with his work, with the forging of new tools, even as the universe seems to die around him. He gave me many tools to survive and complete the task given to the Orphans and I am grateful, I wish that perhaps... he saw me as more than another tool, or at least cherish me as his other creations, as I will never fully be his creation. Nyx: I can remember the first day I met Nyx, it was an exciting day. He was the first person I ever met outside Thoth. To me, Nyx is the first person I can go to for anything. He is the only one I can speak my mind to, of my woes and worries and insecurities. He is an older brother, but he is also a friend and confidant I would say... I get along very well with Nyx, though his violent side at times irks me, he has passion and fervor behind his actions I struggle to summon up myself. Till the very end so long is Nyx is leading the way.. I don't think I'll have any doubts or reservations.
