The goo indicated something was here but without analysis they couldn't prove anything. He was sure the shifter was near. [color=00a651]"This shifter is accused of taking a life. They didn't know if the shifter had killed the owner. Not all shifters did. Many of the law abiding ones hired themselves out as doubles. Just because the son suspect that a shifter had taken his father's place didn't mean anything illegal had occurred. The father could have hired the shifter without telling his son.
