Zachaeus knew the boy was crafty and wouldn't dare to attack the city head on. Rather he would rely on stealth and subterfuge to accomplish his goals. The only problem was exactly how Ulrek planned to go about this. He knew the boy was cruel, so him targeting his other siblings seemed like a real possibility and it had been a while since he had gotten a letter from Matteas, which was troubling.

Zachaeus let out a small sigh as he leaned back in his throne and decided upon a course of action. His plan was simple. He would prepare and let things unfold as they would. Eventually those plotting against him would end up here where he could dispose of them and go back to guiding his empire. While many would consider his cold, detached, view of his eldest son abhorrent Zachaeus did not.

Any love they had for each other had died a long time ago.
