A long time human friend of Cabers, a fortune teller who works for the circus that is a small time mage, has lied to Caber and told him that in the southern area of town, there is a large Oak tree that stands upon a gateway to the Otherworld. Caber travels there and performs an old celtic ritual to see if he can communicate with the Otherworld. Instead, a Demon walks out and nearly kills Caber. The 'friend' of Caber is a wannabe warlock, who wished to make pacts with demons to increase his power, but he was not as in tuned with the enchanted world as Caber. But now there is an opening. Caber has sought out his friend for vengeance, but has yet to find him since.
