Yes, you get a level point that you can use for a strength or new power. Right now the power has to be one that Geno can attain or originally had before coming here. I'd like you to check the new power in with me for approval, just to make sure all's well. You don't need to spend it at the moment if you don't want, though.
I'll still tell you here regardless: The next ability I'd want for Geno is this: Geno Whirl: Geno throws a powerful disk of light that can cut through multiple enemies. Basically can act like Link's boomerang move or Simon's Cross throw, but a bit more powerful. [s]And no, I'm not going to give the critical percentage of the whole "If timed correctly, the attack will do 9,999 damage." from it's original game BS[/s]
Also, kudos to you for having such a thorough knowledge of Mario & Rabbids, either by playing it yourself or for going out of the way to research it. It's not exactly a well-known title.
It's actually pretty underrated. The game we didn't ask for - yet it was surprisingly original and well-written. While I did not play it, I do remember watching a walkthrough movie of it upon it's release. When this came up, I searched up the movie again and indeed did some more research via the Mario Wiki. That pick of the sniper weapon did come from the wiki itself, hence all the statistics and so forth.
That said, reiterating my description of the land and its inhabitants in such detail might not be necessary in the future. Plus, while I did give you free reign, you should probably tone down a few factors in the future. A giant robo-heavy is no easy feat to take down, and finding a very strong sniper in the possession of an early-game Rabbid right next to his hiding spot and having Geno hit his first ever shot with it despite not being proficient with firearms, is rather convenient. I wouldn't say I'm too knowledgeable about writing, but a prominent author once said that conveniences to get into trouble are fine, while conveniences to get out of trouble are cheating. Don't worry about editing, since everyone gets lucky now and then, but bear it in mind in the future. If you have any questions about what's good or not, or want me to chime in with something that might happen in certain situation, I'm happy to help! Either way, the post was highly entertaining.
I didn't imply that it was a giant robo-heavy (supposed to be regular sized) but I can definitely see the confusion as why people would see it that way. Hell, even I almost convinced myself it was a giant robo-heavy. And yes, I do admit that was a very convenient situation to have yourself the possession of a rather powerful weapon (which originated from an amibo no-less), however it was all just for a simple narrative. You won't be seeing much of these shenanigans in future posts - especially in the upcoming posts for this one. But I'm glad you and the others enjoyed it though! Happy to entertain you guys with some quality writing!
