As she rushed to her mentor, the younger Raven Lord barely noticed the bone woman deftly slicing her spoils from the slain Cursed, though such a morbid quirk had given Lua the slightest pause. Still, there were more pressing matters for her to tend to. As the Blackwater took its toll on him, Lucian collapsed against the sewer wall. All magic had its price. To no surprise of Lua's, the wound was already gone before she reached him. Instead, she picked at the bloodied, damaged armor surrounding the spot where the wound had been. Her head tilted slightly as she quickly assessed the damaged pieces. Even if his flesh was healed, that would remain a lingering vulnerability. With a huffing sigh, she moved her hand from his shoulder to help pull him up. “You're getting slow, Old Raven.” The apprentice grumbled to her mentor as she helped him to his feet. “He'll be fine.” Lua explained, glancing to Mergoux. She'd guessed the mercenary's shocked expression meant that Mergoux had never seen the Raven Lords' magic at work before. It was obvious that Lua was supporting most of Lucian's weight as she started back in the direction from which they'd come. “Still, we could be overrun if more of the Cursed find us down here. Let's hurry while we still can.” Lua said, looking over her unoccupied shoulder at Shiara and the mercenary. With the loaded crossbow still firmly gripped in one hand and her other arm under Lucian's, Lua made her way towards the catacombs. Her burden lightened with each step until Lucian was thankfully walking on his own within minutes. As they approached the corner connecting the sewer to the catacombs, Lua apprehensively shouldered the crossbow again. She scanned the next room thoroughly, her readied weapon moving with her eyes each way. A quick nod to Lucian signaled that all was clear and she stepped through into the musty crypt air. “Which way is out?” She muttered.
