Background: In Therai's hometown, there were few tieflings, making him and his family foreign to the townsfolk. He was met with distrust everywhere he went, but instead of becoming bitter like most would, Therai chose to win people over with his actions and his songs. Therai had a natural affinity for the lute, and performed regularly for the people of the village. He soon became an object of pride in the village, and found pleasing his audience too easy. Therai played his songs for countless villagers, and his fame grew and grew. The village was his stage, and he was the best artist they had ever seen. The women of the village chased him, and the men respected him. He soon became an object of pride in the village, and found pleasing his audience easy. Soon he grew bored of his village, as he believed his fate lied elsewhere, beyond the small bubble he had found himself in. His audience felt the same every night. Soon the village felt less like his stage and more like a prison. And so, he decided to leave behind his humble beginnings. He moved from village to village, performing for all the townsfolk he could find. Out of the small village he had been raised in, his skills with a lute were hardly anything to behold. Therai needed to increase his skill if he wanted to become the famous performer he had dreamed of being ever since he was a child. It was then he came across the Frontier Town. He was certain he could find skilled musicians here, and decided to learn all he could from them. However, it wasn't just skill he was missing. Therai needed an adventure! Music wouldn't be enough to make him a household name, but heroic acts would certainly give him a chance. Therai wanted scandal, he wanted glory, and he would find it with the help of the Frontier Town!
