Din
Level 1 - (3/10) EXP Location: 1-1, Central Road Word Count: 225 As combat commenced, Din hid behind the shadow of Bowser's shell to avoid getting hit by the flying bricks and shells. Cowering, Din merely watched as the other started fighting back. Even Blazermate, who was occupied with healing Kirby, contributed by hitting the goombas and koopas that made it around Bowser. In fact, Din noticed Blazermate hitting the creatures on the tops of their heads, which seemed unusually effective. Overcome with a sense of guilt and powerlessness, Din didn't want to be a damsel in distress any longer. Summoning up her courage, she tried striking a goomba on the top of its head with her rod, and the same thing happened: the creature flattened instantly. Realizing that she could contribute in a meaningful way, she continued helping by striking the encroaching creatures. Suddenly, Din felt a strange, warm, inspiring glow deep in her chest, reminding her of her artistic craft. Despite the idea seeming absurd, Din put her arms over her head and arched her back. Suddenly, she stamped her feet and clapped her hands, causing the golden rings she wore on her limbs to jingle. She began dancing behind Bowser, making sure to dodge any incoming shells and bricks. A golden-red energy emanated from her, filling her allies with strength and vigor, and providing some minor healing. This was what she was meant for.
