Ryland “Ry” Astrapí

Before they left, Ryland ducked inside the dining pavilion to grab a chocolate-chip muffin and wrap it up as a peace offering in case he did have to wake up Rosie. The last thing he wanted was his best friend at camp to turn on him and suddenly try to prank him at every corner. He doubted that he would survive very long at camp without massive humiliation at that point, Rosie was certainly a smart one. Once the sacrifice was obtained, he turned towards Kiera and gestured for her to follow him. Leading her through the camp and past all the cabins, he made a direct line for the rather imposing forest towards the rear of the camp. The Oracle's cave was hidden out here, not terribly deep into the forest but enough to be peaceful and secluded at times if need be. For that, he was jealous. People kept slamming into his cabin nearly all the time and gave him no privacy half the days he was at camp. Alas, that is the fate of a child of one of the Big Three. "Trust me on this, we will be safe in this part of the camp's forest." He said calmly to Kiera, trying to give her a reassuring smile as he led her all the way to a cave in a small cliff. The entrance was flanked on each side by a magical torch, with a curtain over the entrance that somehow seemed to create a perfect seal. Once again, magic. Without even a moment of hesitation, Ryland walked forward to the cave and through the curtain. "Rosie? You awake? I brought somebody you need to meet, and a chocolate chip muffin so you better be awake!" He called with a playful grin on his features as he held the curtain open for Kiera to come join him.
