Julan tried to think along the lines that Janius was suggesting. To be fair, his father's explanation did actually make sense to him, and did make some progress for him to understand the situation. They did not have walls and a roof to trap the scents, but once they were close enough, Fendros' family would easily be able to take in varying aromas of the veritable feast that Shevari had prepared for them.
