If she's convinced something has to be done a certain way, she won't compromise. It's her way or the highway, essentially. And of course, if for whatever reason someone goes against her will, she holds the grudge for a long time. She's the type that gets revenge, and even then, plots for more revenge.

But while all of that may seem very negative, Bonnie is a terrific person to know. She's sweet and nice, as well as funny and sarcastic, always being able to come up with a witty reference. Her sharp mind provides a lot of her humor, with banter and verbal swordplay being her favorite things to do. Only if people deserve it will Bonnie be cruel to them--she doesn't burn down bridges without a very good reason. Of course, she is incredibly cunning, but she follows her moral compass. It's the reason why she has the compass tattoo, as a reminder for her to follow herself and to trust herself. She marches to the beat of her own drum and it shows. Hurt her, hurt one of her friends, and she'll come up with something worse than death.

[b][color=f6989d]Why did you want to become an Agent of S.H.I.E.L.D.?:[/color][/b] Bonnie had been in JROTC in high school and enjoyed the structure the program gave. It made sense to her, the chain of command and the protocols. She had been considering working as a forensic artist or as an autopsy assistant, perhaps even going into the military itself or joining the CDC. But S.H.I.E.L.D. made the offer first to Bonnie and it was better than she could possibly imagine. It didn't hurt that she had two doctorates already as well, with one doctorate being an academy requirement. 

[b][color=f6989d]General History:[/color][/b] Bonnie's father was French-Canadian, but married a woman from the United States. They initially settled in a major city in Quebec, having their first child, Bonnie Anne, shortly after settling down. Her mother was a professor of anthropology and her father a dentist, both attempting to instill positive values in their daughter. She was sent to a private Catholic school through eighth grade, until her mother received a post at George Washington University, moving the family to the United States. And although no one in the family was rather religious, but the private school seemed like a good option at the time. She grew to love the arts and science, taking gymnastic lessons daily and even learning to throw knives. 

She had become a bit snobby by then, used to having everything handed to her. She was sent to a different private school in Washington D.C., one aimed for girls who lived science. There was one other new student transferring in--a shy but sweet and insanely intelligent girl a few years younger than Bonnie named Cecily Ashworth. Cecily introduced Bonnie to her love of comic books, and while they were socially ostracized by the rest of the school, the pair of them didn't care. Bonnie fell in love with the possibilities presented by comic books and novels, even after Cecily moved away at the end of the year. 

Bonnie went to college and studied biochemistry and anatomy, earning doctorate degrees in both fields. On the side, she continued to hone her art skills, drawing characters from books and movies as a way to relieve stress. She was fascinated by the human form itself, a subtle merge of her loves of science and drawing. Her brilliance and drive won her a place at the S.H.I.E.L.D. academy, continuing on with science. It was there that she met her sweetheart, James Richardson, who was studying in Operations and just a year her younger. They married the day after they both graduated from the academy. 

Seven months into their marriage, James was killed by a hostile enhanced individual. 

Bonnie took it hard. She threw herself into her work, attempting to develop new techniques but not really accomplishing that much. There were a lot of sleepless nights in the lab and she lost interest in her hobbies, eventually not even bothering to eat. She was taken off of active duty and ushered into counseling, only finally getting over her grief eight months later. She has since risen through S.H.I.E.L.D.'s ranks and is one of the top agents, with about seven years of experience. 

She was assigned to Hawkeye's unit, christened the Secret Warriors during the HYDRA uprising. In the Age of Ultron timeline, she was tragically killed taking a hit to save Agent Niah Bautista. Under the new regime with Maria Hill taking over as Director of SHIELD, Bonnie has been working underneath Agent Tinley Abercrombie - and she's become rather close with her teammates, some more than others.
