He prefers to wear dark, inconspicuous clothing when he's not in his Templar armour. Dark jackets, cargo pants and usually at least two layers of torso-wear. However, his full black gear includes a combat vest with a variety of pouches for flashbangs, magazines and even a sheathe for his knife on the upper chest. A balaclava and black trousers with built in knee pads and lace boots. The only color being his bright blue eyes staring through the eye holes of ballistic face mask. While his general appearance can be unkempt, with a medium beard and long hair, his posture and the way he moves is very regimented. Each stride is with purpose and every sentence is short and to the point.
[sub] Personality[/sub] [sub][sup]▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔[/sup][/sub]
Jason has never really been the kind of man to try and make real connections. Only if it's good for business. He can come across as quite stand-offish and if he finds out that you're a super, then oh boy. Jason despises people with powers and see's them as an infection of the planet and a gross misstep in evolution. He's even pious about it, treating it like some holy duty to eradicate this sickness. He'll even mutter a verse or two from the bible before he deals the killing blow. In fact, Jason is quite a cold person. While he doesn't want to kill civilians, at the end of the day they'd be unfortunate casualties in his personal war. If one or two get caught in the crossfire, it would be a necessary sacrifice to achieve his goal. He'd much prefer a few people catching a stray bullet or shrapnel rather than a whole block or even a city getting blown up by a crazy or uncontrollable super.
[/cell][/row]
[sub] Character Synopsis[/sub] [sub][sup]▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔[/sup][/sub]
Previously serving in the military, Jason was no stranger to fighting. He saw all kinds of terrible things while in service, and they were just regular people. Civilians dead on the street, crying infants and new widows wailing, horrible torture. However, men could fight men. Nothing prepared him for when the enemy militants began to deploy "special operatives." Flames spouting out from one's very hands, chunks of cement being tossed over fields like they were footballs. It didn't matter to them who or what was on the receiving end of these powers. It made Jason sick. How could people just wield this power suddenly. It wasn't until after eight years of duty did he come back home, mind rattled by the horrors of war like many veterans. He returned home, living by himself. It only took him months to notice something about society. Was there really a difference in how supers behaved? News stories of innocents dying and wanton destruction wreaking havoc throughout city streets. No one seemed to want to do anything about it. Sure, there was debates and laws were made but did that stop them? Hell no. Someone had to do something about it, and where else to start but the worst place of them all. Santa fucking Celia. Jason moved there into the shittiest, low-profile apartment he could find and began preparations. First it was using contacts to get equipment. A couple of pistols, a knife, a body vest and a ski mask. They all had to start from somewhere. Next was reconnaissance, scoping out the streets, seeing where the largest concentration was and making a note of immediate and non-immediate threats, and ranking them too. He begun with some of the weakest criminals. With each kill, he began to garner a bit of a reputation. Soon enough he got a phone call. Some similar-minded people had an offer. Keep doing what he was doing, and they would assist in the acquisition of gear and special weapons from their facilities and connections. The only catch would be that he may be ordered to do something. How could he refuse? With a new alliance with The Constantine's Guard and a new armoury to deploy, it was time for the Zealot to complete his mission.
[sub] Abilities & Skills[/sub] [sub][sup]▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔[/sup][/sub] [sub]//Skills:[/sub]
Military Training | Due to his background, Jason is trained in a variety of firearms and combat disciplines including CQC, knife-wielding, stealth and marksmanship. While this gives him a high skill-level, he is still a jack of all trades, master of none. He's just a very good jack. Mixed-Martial Arts | Sometimes you will have no weapons and have to rely on your bare hands. With that being said, Jason has been trained in MMA. While someone with super strength or agility would very easily have the advantage, he is no slump in hand-to-hand combat. Interrogation | Able to make himself look and sound intimidating, Jason has a knack for extracting or even just pummelling information out of hostiles. While it's neither friendly or pretty, it sure is effective.
[sub] Supporting Cast[/sub] [sub][sup]▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔[/sup][/sub]
Constantine's Guard- See the OC in the character tab for more information. Rest is to be determined.

So the primary concern with Zealot is that the character is very built around the idea of being a villain to the point that the character sheet reads in such a way that your only IC interactions will likely combative/antagonizing to other players. Jason's not written to be a social person by any means and while that's fine, Junk, Hillan and myself think this might be a little too 'Chaotic Evil' in its current state.
[@JunkMail]My plan was that Jason was going to be the first antagonistic/villainous character of the roster and it would be a plot twist later on that he would develop some sort of power, creating an identity crisis.
The above idea that you pitched to Junk has a lot of potential but we'd actually suggest making a couple of changes to Jason's backstory in order to make this his driving arc instead of saving it. The reason we suggest this is because the identity crisis would open you and your character up for more interaction and plot opportunities that you currently wouldn't with the submitted sheet. Re-reading your backstory, in order to drive this idea home, I would suggest altering it so that Jason is recruited by the Guard while still deployed, going through their training and hopes while running covert operations for the Guard Overseas in order to gain experience with hunting both supers and the supernatural. Going this route, near the end of his backstory you could have Jason begin to discover his own superhuman nature setting him up for his identity crisis as he is deployed to Santa Celia following the spike in super and supernatural activity that is this RP. Additionally, we'd ask that you include Jason's ability on his sheet, especially if you do choose to do this path where has begun to manifest before the start of the IC. If you choose to not have it manifesting before the start of the IC and for whatever reason you would prefer it not to be public, to begin with, we'd still ask that you PM us a copy of the sheet including the abilities but we would allow you to post it under the impression that Jason is 'normal'. However, I'm assuming that as you had no issue publically posting your plot arc, that you probably don't have an issue including the power on the sheet. Feel free to respond if these suggested changes are too drastic from your original vision or even if you would prefer to pursue your other idea instead of making these changes or any other agreed upon changes pending further discussion.
