Penelope was glad to hear that he had slept well, especially after knowing he had had trouble the night before. She rolled her eyes at him as he teased her and gave a small smile. "Well, thank you." she chuckled. As he nuzzled her, she blinked in surprise and gave a soft laugh. "I'm glad you were able to make the most out of airheadedness then." she joked and pressed an affectionate kiss to his cheek. Looking at him,, the knight's amused gaze softened, feeling a burst of fondness for the thief as well as longing for the future. Since they were resting in a peasant home, she could easily picture that their mornings after the war would look somewhat similar to this one. However, reality stepped in again as she heard someone enter the room and clear their throat. Penelope turned her head to see Gavin standing at the entrance with an uncomfortable look as he tried to keep from looking directly at them. "Oh good.. You two are already up." he mumbled. Crossing his arms he turned to step back out of the room. "Breakfast is ready so let's eat quick and then get moving again." Penelope let out a quiet sigh and nodded. "Alright. We'll be there in a moment." she assured the male knight before he stepped out of the room. She turned back to Crow and pressed a quick kiss to his lips before beginning to move away from him to get up. "Looks like we better get moving before he cuts us off from breakfast." she muttered jokingly.
